you’re fascinating
so you have an interesting start in
comedy you started because you lost a
pool hall Becky tell us how that went I
was skipping school with a buddy of mine
and he knew that you know I love comedy
watch comedy was going to watch comedy
live and I was writing some my own
material and there were two comedians
that we saw across the pool hall and he
was like listen I’ll play this game and
if I win you got to go talk to them and
explain to them so that’s what happened
I went over and I was on a week later
over a week later on the Amateur Night
and then Here I am well you’ve been very
successful you’re a triple threat
comedian host actor which one’s your
favorite out of the three the stand-up
by far still my favorite there’s
something about live audience but
instant reaction whether it’s laughs yon
boo anything you know exactly right away
how they feel we’re in acting it could
be great in the directors like oh that’s
perfect okay let’s do it again now
you’ve entered all the way to
Afghanistan to entertain the troops was
it hard to be funny in that situation
when I went on stage in Afghanistan on
the military base
my goal was be funny entertain almost
because they couldn’t come to the show
here in Canada I’m gonna bring the show
to them but I also said some stuff that
I know that if they said they would get
in trouble
if you ever hear this what’s your
favorite part of the job
the hours really I worked like an hour a
day that’s not true I’m a now or day
onstage but I mean I do you know I read
the papers and I’m on the internet
always looking for again something
topical do you have any words of advice
to aspiring comedians I tell people that
I that asked me this all the time it’s
like a drug you know because you’re
gonna try it and then you’re gonna go
one or two ways you’re gonna be like
okay I tried it I don’t really like it
and you know I’ll just watch people do
it and that’ll be fine
or you’re biet you know it’s a gateway
drug it’s like oh my god I need more I
got to do it again I’m gonna do it again
so it’s definitely worth the shot thank
