this cinematic universe will probably
never end and we’re more than okay with
that welcome to watchmojo.com and today
we’ll be counting down our picks for the
top 10 MCU movies we want to see after
Avengers 4 welcome back this is gonna be
fun
before we begin we publish new videos
every day so be sure to subscribe for
more great content for this list we’re
taking a look at origin stories sequels
crossovers and other plot lines we want
to see after the fourth Avengers movie
which marks the end of a 22 movie arc
oh yeah Charles we got ourselves an
x-men fan you do know they’re all
bullshit right maybe a quarter of it
happened and not like this number 10
guardians of the galaxy vol 3 star-lord
who star-lord legendary outlaw as of now
the third guardians of the galaxy is one
of the few films that’s been confirmed
for the MCU s fourth phase little is
currently known about the project
outside of the fact that James Gunn is
returning to direct and the plot will
take place sometime after Avengers
infinity war speaking of which that epic
crossover is sure to have a few
game-changing moments for the guardians
especially if Gomorrah and Thanos have a
family reunion of sorts
while plot details for volume 3 have
understandably being kept under wraps
Gunn has hinted that the movies will
quote expand the cosmic universe and
quote set up the next 10 20 years of
Marvel movies number 9 Silver Surfer my
surface spares my world and the one I
love in a deal that’s already gone down
in entertainment history
Disney purchased 21st Century Fox for
fifty two point four billion dollars in
December 2017 this opened the door for
several Marvel characters under Fox’s
control to finally join the MCU one of
the many comic book icons we hope to see
soon is the Silver Surfer who previously
appeared on the big screen alongside the
Fantastic Four in 2007 while that
interpretation left something to be
desired we believe marble can do the
shiny space traveler justice I will
as mentioned before the cosmic universe
is already set to expand which will not
only provide leeway to the Silver Surfer
to drop in but the godlike Galactus as
well consider this world a parting gift
you will release me I I can go you must
go number eight Doctor Strange to forget
everything you think you know
dr. strange was both financial and
critical hit earning an Oscar nomination
for its mind-bending visual effects so
the fact that marble hasn’t announced a
follow up already is well for lack of a
better word strange that’s not to say
the sorcerer supreme has been mi a as he
popped up in thor ragnarok and plays a
key role in infinity war while there’s
still no official confirmation on Doctor
Strange – director scott derrickson has
pitched a couple of ideas most notably
expressing his desire to have nightmare
as the sequels antagonist much like The
Joker in the Dark Knight derrickson
believes that nightmare is a villain who
could really push our hero to his limits
help you number 7 Secret Wars think of
me as one from beyond call me the
Beyonder from The Avengers – Captain
America’s Civil War – thor ragnarok
Marvel has repeatedly proven that it’s
one of the few Studios that truly
understands how to execute a crossover
what’s even more impressive is how the
filmmakers keep finding new ways to top
themselves with et mo as big as infinity
war and Avengers 4 might be a secret
Wars adaptation has the potential to be
even bigger
in the original limited series an entity
known as the Beyonder brings together
the likes of spider-man the Hulk and
other Marvel icons to duke it out
against a team of super villains on
battle world the question is how many of
our favorite heroes will still be alive
after phase 3
number six black panther to
my son it is your time after touch Allah
made his long-awaited MCU debut in
Captain America’s Civil War fans were
more eager than ever to see a standalone
Black Panther movie with a-list talent
like chadwick boseman Lupita Nyong’o and
Michael B Jordan attached it became
clear that Ryan Coogler was assembling
something special Marvel Studios
President Kevin Feige has stated that
Black Panther is an especially important
step toward the third and fourth
Avengers movies with that in mind it’d
be incredibly surprising if the king of
Wakanda only got one solo outing as for
the sequel there’s no shortage of great
source material to borrow from maybe
something from Tana he see Coates
best-selling critically acclaimed modern
run don’t freeze number 5 Deadpool snag
the list then another
taskmaster and his acolytes capiche wait
uh no live them yeah yeah here’s the
thing I can’t really say the k-word out
loud it’s a weird mental tic thanks to
Ryan Reynolds’s charismatic performance
and a well deserved R rating Deadpool
became one of the most successful
superhero movies ever now that this
insanely popular character is in
Disney’s possession several questions
have been raised for starters should the
family-friendly Disney take Deadpool in
a new direction or stay the course well
here’s an idea
Reynolds should continue to play
Deadpool and standalone adventures laced
with profanity sex jokes and graphic
violence then if slash when Reynolds
reprises the role in an Avengers movie
have Deadpool joke about the fact that
he needs to keep things pg-13 it might
not always make sense continuity wise
but the Merc with a mouth has never been
big on that anyway number 4 Thor for
really guys no I know what you’re
thinking how does this happen where the
original Thor was a solid introduction
of the god of thunder the reception to
Thor the dark world was more mixed Thor
Ragnarok practically felt like a reboot
though upping the comedy the action and
the character development since Asgard’s
future is still up in the air we’d love
to see a successor to Ragnarok that
captures the same wit charm and
all-around awesomeness the film wouldn’t
even necessarily need to Center on Thor
per se it’d be just as interesting if
the story shifted focus to Loki Valkyrie
or even good old Korg as long as
director Tycho Itt is on board we’d be
in store for another wild ride what were
you the god of again
[Music]
number three spider-man homecoming – can
I give you some advice hmm you got to
get better at this part of the job I’m
Sam I’m intimidating given the conflict
between Disney and Sony it looked like
Spiderman would never team up with the
Avengers against all the odds however
Spidey got to participate in Civil War
and received a proper homecoming the
following year what has us especially
hyped for the homecoming sequel is that
it’ll be the first MCU movie to follow
Avengers for the end of phase 3 is
certain to shake things up and those
changes should be reflected in
spider-man’s next solo adventure this
film won’t only help set the tone for
phase 4 but also mark a major turning
point for Peter Parker as he enters his
junior year July 5th 2019 can’t come
soon enough
[Music]
number two Fantastic Four you are never
gonna believe what just happened to me
what well I can explain this we’re not
sure what’s more surreal that the
Fantastic Four may finally cross paths
with the Avengers or that Steve Rogers
and Johnny Storm were both played by
Chris Evans still weird in any case it’s
about time Marvel’s first family got a
quality big-screen adaptation
although Roger Corman’s unreleased take
on the Fantastic Four set the bar pretty
low
Fox dropped the ball with their 2005
version and a 2015 reboot that was
somehow even worse it’s clobberin time
mr. fantastic The Invisible Woman the
Human Torch and the thing should finally
get the treatment they deserve under
Marvel’s care civilian
it’s fantastic
yes it is maybe Disney could even enlist
Brad birth seeing how he basically
directed a Fantastic Four movie already
just like old times
oh yeah hurt then too number one x-men
what is this place
of all the properties Disney acquired
from Fox x-men could have the greatest
impact as is the case with Deadpool
though it’s unclear how mutants will fit
into the equation
if the x-men joined the MCU with their
established film franchise be rebooted
since Logan was Hugh Jackman swan song
now is this go to time as any to recast
Wolverine on the other hand James McAvoy
is Professor X and Michael Fassbender’s
magneto would be missed but with 2018
x-men Dark Phoenix marking their fourth
x-men film it may be just the right time
to take the franchise in a new direction
oh sure I can’t convince you to stay a
psychic transfer you can convince me to
do anything
