against the guards the warden also
promised his crew a shortened sentence
if he throws the game we’re talking
about early parole right absolutely huh
of course Crewe befriends the prisoners
and helps them win the game
this film was so good it inspired a
remake and a soccer version us convicts
are starting up a football team not
interested
playing the guards although both of
those movies had a severe shortage of
Bertram’s look like if you use a little
help no offense my man but you’re a
little seasoned number four Rudy after
high school I’m gonna play football at
Notre Dame this film follows Rudy
Ruettiger attempts to make the nut Rodin
team ever since I was a kid I wanted to
go to school here despite being too
short and too weak to make the team and
too thick to get into school Rudy never
relents you’re not a Notre Dame student
officialy no he gets special teaching to
meet Notre Dame standards and trains for
years as a tackling dummy until he’s
finally allowed to play one game this
tale of determination has the right
balance of grit and hope to make the
film work My Father loves Notre Dame
football more than anything else in the
world he doesn’t believe I’m on the team
because he can’t see me at the sidelines
during the games
it was the same grit and hope that
helped Rudy become the first person to
be carried off into her name’s field

segregated schools one black one white
being forced to join into one they
combine the white school and the black
school into one in this merger the coach
of the black team becomes the coach of
the combined squad naturally this
creates a mixed atmosphere but the team
becomes a beacon of unity elastic man
whoa what happened to you man I just
gave you a mom a piggyback ride and she
weighs twice as well
bo not as epic as watching denzel rail
coke and then fly a jet here he still
delivers a performance with gravitas and
class this goes out time everybody is
out time out time out time time zone
twin yeah before we get to our number
