Tire Changes in the 2006 Formula One season

another big change in 2006 is in tires
if you recall from last year two
thousand five there was only allowed to
have one set of tires for a weekend and
that became a big problem for teams
because they were so used to swapping
out tires in the race and there was a
big problem Bridgestone they didn’t have
enough testing material to work with
because Michelin had on with all the
teams and they couldn’t swap out as they
were used to so everyone have to design
new tire compounds that’s complete
change now allowed to have now seven
sets of dry tires four sets of wet tires
and three sets of extreme weather tires
there now they have to pick this which
type of dryer they use before qualifying
but they’re the tire changing is back it
can be back to the normal situation
everyone can relax now it’s going to be
an interesting season in that way I mean
jumping back from that pretty happy
change that they made last year
