The Nine Planets – Earth

earth is third in line from the Sun and
it is the largest of the terrestrial
planets because of this fact it is also
the largest solid object in the solar
system the earth does not rotate around
its axis every 24 hours but actually
every 23 hours and 56 minutes just over
seventy percent of earth is covered in
water and just less than thirty is land
it is estimated that only one-eighth of
the earth is suitable for humans to live
on because much as either desert or
mountains scientist suggests that earth
was formed 4.5 seven billion years ago
the moon or luna is the Earth’s only
natural satellite and it is one-fourth
of the size of Earth itself it is almost
two hundred nine thousand miles from
Earth and makes an orbit of the earth
approximately every 27 days the earth is
composed mostly of iron oxygen silicon
and magnesium and is the only place in
the universe known to support human life
