Pole Dance Workout for Intermediates

hi I’m singer Manette a pole dance
teacher at Sanford in Austin Mahone and
I’m going to be showing you three
intermediate advanced pole moves for
watchmojo.com the first move is going to
be the Scorpio you are going to go with
your dominant arm on the pole which will
be my right your other arm is going to
come up higher you’re going to invert
yourself with your feet going backwards
the second part will be once your feet
are off the ground and up to actually
grab the pole with your right foot
because you’re working with the right
arm once you’re up on the pole you’re
going to grab it with the right leg
you’re going to let go of your left arm
and left leg and grab it at ankle level
so you’re basically holding on with your
right arm and your right leg this is
called the Scorpio this intermediate
advanced move is called the fallen angel
but you’re going to need to do first is
be very close to the pole grab the pole
in a baseball grip jump up and cross
your legs in front of you when that is
done going to straighten out your legs
flex one foot and point the other when
you find your balance you’re going to
slowly let go of your arms and lean back
and your feet will come up going to let
your arms fall behind you okay you’re
going to go up squeeze your thighs one
foot flex one foot pointed let go of the
pole and fall the third pole move is
something that I would teach in my
advanced class it’s called the spinning
helicopter the reason why I would be a
little bit more advanced and something
to look forward to actually doing
eventually is because it involves
strength and speed I’m going to give you
a little preview of the spinning
helicopter
you
