Medieval Culture 101 – Culture

nowadays people talk a lot about
medieval time but it’s really a
combination between science fiction and
history I know Peter from the round
table is gonna explain to us what that
means the reasons why people are
fascinated with all this this is not
because they like history some do but
most the guys just want to be warriors
they want to be Knights and the girls
want to be princesses
part of his role-playing and part of his
just downright you know you poured of
your life and you want something
different and you want to dress up for
weekends people have fun with it and
there’s a whole subculture behind it as
well and people getting married and
medieval style they have these big
banquets and start off in California 30
years ago with all’s reenactment groups
but these people were born into
historical accuracy more than fantasy
you walk around and look at some of the
parks we have a very little of it is
right now very historically based a lot
of it just move ease do you think
there’s a particular reason why people
like to find this I said about being a
knight and a princess instead of being
something else it’s a moment for them to
break some of the routine you feel free
to express yourself and you’d be a maybe
someone you’re not normally allowed to
be look I can’t draw I can’t sing I
can’t play an instrument but this is a
form of expressing myself it’s a cool
stuff you walk into any mall that we’re
in we stick out like a sore thumb well
it’s good to be different and most
importantly to have passion for what you
do and it’s clear that you do and you
know don’t be afraid to be creative and
the e.r imagination fly
