I’m here here we have a madam
challenging iWatch champion and
instinctive knife-throwing de he’s going
to be teaching me with his world class
champion skills how to throw knives so
he has two different styles here and
there’s different ways you can throw
knives you can explain that a little bit
the first what we are going to try it is
with heavier knives and it’s called how
spin throwing you hold it by the blade
you are about here and release it and
knife will do half rotation to the
target and hopefully it will stick right
then right after that if Griggs gonna be
successful
we can try no spin throwing and it stays
basically look same like with ball
shooting you release it and knife fly
straight to the target very cool
so has been throwing first you hold by
the blade and in this position you let
knife slide out from your hand and knife
will do half rotation to the target
hopefully it was thinking and now I will
show you no spin throwing so first you
need to find balance on the knife or
whatever you will throw it then you will
put index finger
where was the balance point grip it like
that and in this position you gently
slide the spine of the knife and it will
fly straight to the target these style
first and then we’ll try once we get a
couple sticks we’ll try it with the
particular knife arrows
ah and now it’s your turn
oh boy that’s it and keep your wrist
fuck about a militia oh wow
wrist locks really word scheme like you
want to flick it like a midget or
something like now you may get a paper
but this thing just want the weight kind
of travel whoa that was actually I’m
impressed
I just impressed myself beautiful
oh we’re owing for slow okay now I just
got an intro I think it might be the
mask maybe it takes away some of the
peripheral vision or it just takes your
focus cuz you have like a little bit I
don’t know I wasn’t
unimpressed Wow it was amazing then they
were good shots to like the way they
wouldn’t without any practice Wow
so guys this this is the perfect sticks
because you want it exactly hit like
that if knives will be like that it’s
over rotating and it was good me like
that it’s and rotating but as you can
see gear like that hit perfect straight
knife so wow really good junk food a lot
a good teacher I gotta say thank you
that is pretty awesome very cool so
another thing that we were thinking
about doing is I’ve had a couple people
suggest electric throwing knives and so
I’m taking his expert opinion on how a
throwing knife is made because he
actually has a company that makes really
really amazing professional throwing
knives and some of the best quality you
can find definitely check those out I’ll
leave a link in the description also he
has his own YouTube channel so
definitely subscribe to him for some
more tutorials
he’s also throwing hatchets all kinds of
crazy stuff so definitely a really
awesome resource if you’re trying to get
into some professional knife-throwing do
it from a world champion
and so we’re going to do is probably
take the design and integrate so what
are some suggestions that you would say
if I was going to put a stun gun into it
or would it be better better to have it
more like a like with a wire so that it
would almost be like a harpoon with a
you know two electric yeah for my first
idea would be do the knife symmetric
because maybe with the shape it couldn’t
work you know you need something that’s
gonna be the same shape and it will fly
straight maybe add some like a wraps on
it so it will make like a some kind of
arrow up improvised arrow and shoot it
like that okay how to say so maybe I was
thinking that the handle would be open
like almost like hollow and then all of
that could be where we put maybe a small
battery pack you could put the charge
and then we would just have to have it
so that maybe whenever it releases your
hand
we’ll see we’ll slider switch on because
that instictive throwing maybe that
motion could turn switch on it’s
interesting
la whenever you unit or you could press
it have it charge and then throw it but
it might be better to have it release an
electric at the same time that way if
you’re holding it you have a less of a
chance but we’re probably gonna insulate
it you know you can just use electrical
tape it might be improvised the first
time just to get the point across but
what I’ll probably do is I’ll take a
snapshot of this take the same design
put it on a water jet and DXF file and
cut it out then I’ll probably you can
tell this actually isn’t very sharp the
momentum and powers would striving it in
and it’s just enough to get into this
type of wood so pretty awesome so let’s
try and throw these ones now so we did
no controlling with the no spins yeah so
it’s more like sliding off your finger
slide I’ll go index finger so we’re
going to have him show how it’s done and
throw it a couple times you can see and
then I’ll give it a go like last time I
think that works well let’s do it no
spin throwing
Wow look at that precision so that’s
what you’re gonna do now all right so
we’re going to go in and do a little
close-up he’s going to explain basically
the process of its sliding off the
finger basically it sounds like it flies
off the spine it’s maybe looking easy
for you but it’s not that simple
so you need first like this motion now
in this moment let us slide knife brush
it with index finger and use it but not
but don’t flick your wrist because I had
that on all your wrist just let it slide
I will try to do it really slow just
like like it magically appears be so
fast and you can do it from any distance
I can just step back all right let’s do
it so you can start first with drawing
just to the ground it’s much more easier
way to learn how this technique use the
same grip like I showed before
and just to camp several times to the
ground and then you can continue to
normal toy I’ll try you like my friend
watch out I don’t know anyone do it
awesome

about letting it slide off your finger
if you have too much of a grip try to
ninja star it like I mean that’s that
feels like kind of natural like you want
it to flip but you really just wanna

handicapping myself because getting

electric multi-tool or something I mean
I’m really really like the integration
of Technology with some more traditional
style things and the nose to knife
learning is actually a little bit newer
so it’s pretty cool I like this a lot so
today we learn two different style knife
throwing we have the know spin and half
spin this is a little bit newer style we
have here the world champion so that was
definitely an honor to be able to be
taught by him thank you so he is
seriously a master this you saw you saw
within a a really quick tutorial he was
able to teach me how to get three sticks
right and and then after a little bit of
practice we got some of these to work as
well I really like this design
he sort of describes it as an arrow
which just makes so much sense how it
just flies through the air and I’m going
to work with what his advice was to find
the balancing point and also how to
maybe allow it to slide off the finger
