If someone in your Rage Causes
Goerdzjef’s father was dying.
His last words to Goerdzjef
have enormous significance;
may never have a father son
advised with such great insight.
And Goerdzjef was only nine years old,
So his father said, “I know you may not be able now to understand what I say,
but I have no time,
I must say it now.
But you have time – you just remember the words.
When you
are mature enough to understand what those words mean,
then trade these words.
But do not forget, remember, it’s a simple sentence. “
He said Goerdzjef repeating the phrase three times,
so that he could die in peace.
And he said, “Forgive me as I leave you no inheritance
except this sentence. “
And what was the point? a very simple sentence.
He said:
“Remember,
if someone
caused anger in you,
tell the person that you will come back twenty-four hours later to answer him.
For twenty-four hours, waiting;
and after twenty-four hours,
What’s in you come to, “go do that.”
A strange advice,
but not weird if you understand.
And this simple advice changed very Goerdzjef’s life.
This single sentence
made
a man like George Goerdzjef
and that kind of man arises only after centuries.
But the old man must have been someone of great insight.
He left nothing after.
he told his son, “Now you have to take care of yourself.
Your mother is dead,
I’m dying.
You’ll have to earn your bread. You will have to learn on my own stuff. “
A nine-year-old child …
but this
became
a great opportunity for Goerdzjef,
because he began to wander with nomads.
Goerdzjef was born near the Caucasus in Russia
there are still nomads,
nomadic tribes.
Even sixty years of communist torture
has not been able
these nomads to choose a place of residence,
because they see it wandering around as a human birthright,
and maybe they’re right.
