3 Ways to Deal With Pressure

if you’re an executive you’re an
entrepreneur somebody that’s in a very
high-pressure type situations you need
to create a system for yourself on how
to handle pressure I’m gonna give you
three tips today on how to handle
pressure number one it could be in the
middle of the day something happens you
feel upset you’re tense you you’re
getting a little bit anxiety you getting
upset about it you got a pause you got a
pause and ask yourself why am I feeling
this pressure okay and where is it
coming from literally sometimes you just
need to pause and you’ll say it came
from this why am I thinking about this
the one question you ask do I have any
control over this if you have no control
over it let it go if you do have any
control over it figured out a way to
solve it number two when you have
pressure there’s gonna be times that you
need to make a decision that you have
too much pressure on yourself anytime
you need to make a decision that’s a
tough decision ask yourself this
question what is the worst-case scenario
what could happen that is gonna be the
worst case I’m talking worst case and
then write it down this the worst case
are you okay with that yes then do it
I’m not okay with that then don’t do it
then create a different alternative for
yourself because that’s creating
pressure for you and last but not least
here’s what it is there’s a big
difference between stress and tension
stress you have zero control over
tension is expected in any environment
that you’re a part of that’s competitive
that’s growing that’s fast that’s urgent
that you’ve got big lofty goals that
you’re trying to do something that’s
never been done before you cannot expect
to do anything big without having
tension tension is never going away just
so you know that there is no pill
there’s no book there’s no video there’s
not audio book you’re gonna listen to
that’s going to get rid of tension but
the moment you realize that tension is
expected and you anticipate tension you
are never surprised when tension shows up
