peace infinite waters diving deep once
again the sun is shining and one thing
I’ve realized about the Sun is that it’s
never stopping it’s just moving and
moving and it just reminds me that don’t
rest on your laurels and so many of us
we’re just wasting time thinking about
what we’ve done in the past our
achievements our medals and it’s funny
because the laurels going back to
ancient Greece they were these symbols
of victories people would win for the
Olympics and what-have-you and the
laurel wreath a ring of leaves and it’s
just amazing how even on this journey
this so-called inner journey so many
people are taking around the planet at
the moment where we’re talking about
awareness awakening and a lot of times
people have information and they feel
enlightened and they’re resting on their
laurels because really and truly what we
know is only a fraction of what’s in
existence we only know a drop in the
ocean of everything and it just makes me
really realize that life is a continuous
process and the moment that you say you
know is the moment you begin to die the
moment you say okay I’ve achieved it
that’s the moment when it’s over because
really you’ve you have nowhere else to
go and that’s the thing it’s like a lot
of us we’re resting on our laurels we’re
resting on what we think we know and
it’s amazing because traveling to
different countries I’ve just realized
there was a time where I was going to so
many different countries and a lot of
the time sometimes people lose an
appetite of life itself when a lot of
people think they know everything about
the world they say okay I know this
country these people are like this and a
lot of the times it just limits our own
imagination and it limits really our are
urged to always be expansive
and a lot of people they become hardened
with life because they’re resting on
their laurels they’re resting on what
they think they know their achievements
their victories and and all of this and
at the end of the day it just makes us
old before our time and that’s how it
works out because it’s like even as
children we all have these goals you
know you go to school and people are
taking exams and they get an A in or B
and they’re happy and and a lot of the
times it’s like how we’re programmed as
well for success and that’s the thing
when you are successful how do you
measure success some people it’s getting
a lot of money to some people it’s
getting that job they want but at the
same time I’ve realized on my journey
that success is elusive because the sun
is shining and it doesn’t stop it’s just
moving so it doesn’t want your applause
but it’s just doing its divine job just
same as the moon and all of these things
it’s just showing me that it’s not about
giving yourself this self grand iseman
say okay look what I’ve done because
life is a continuous process life
doesn’t stop and we have to keep it
moving because a lot of times the people
is like Jackie Chan the great martial
artist said he’s not afraid of someone
who kicks who does 5,000 kicks in one
day he’s more afraid of someone who does
one kick every day for the rest of their
life and for me that’s always stuck with
me it’s all about consistency and even
though on my journey I am as consistent
as possible because I realized when
people it’s like so many of us we’re
just trying to do everything at once and
maybe it’s because people are living in
anxiety people are living in fear and
that’s what happens a lot of times we’re
just trying to get so many things done
in one day and when we’ve done them then
we rest on our laurels we rest on our
victories but then again you’ve got to
wake up tomorrow and then that’s the
thing
a lot of people they lose their shine
because they’re not being consistent and
for me that’s how I see it I can’t rest
on my laurels I can’t really you know
for me how this whole journey is worked
out is that you have to keep it moving
and that’s even with information because
at the end of the day it doesn’t matter
how much information you have you have
for me I just realized that there’s
always more because this is infinite
this is infinite and we can only just be
