Wine Tasting With A Sommelier

have you ever wondered if you’re fully
appreciating your wine hi I’m Rebecca
Brayton and welcome to watchmojo.com and
today I’m speaking with some Eddie a
Kerala price about wine tasting and the
techniques involved so the first thing
you want to do is you want to swirl you
can do it two ways you can lift it up
always towards you never away from you
it’s just opening the wine up for you to
then sniff it’ll give you the amount of
alcohol the acidity the fruit everything
comes from memory and wine tasting
you’re always going to focus on the fact
that you know it from somewhere else and
then you go and you savor it you take in
a little bit you put it all around your
mouth as soon as you swallow very
lightly just blow out that will bring
all the memories back of your smell so
it’ll help you be a better taster this
is very very calm it’s refreshing it’s
not too acidic it’s really perfect for a
meal that could be anything
Rosie’s not only for the summer you can
have rose’ all year round and it’s
especially good for people who don’t
necessarily like red wine rose a’s and
reds tend to be served a little bit
warmer so they’re already available to
you in the nose there’s usually more
alcohol so you start to smell it and
then go in you want it to be balanced
where you always have fruit and always
have acid and that is very important to
have a balanced wine the roses are the
kind of wines that go very well with
cheese they also go very well with roast
bird it’s made from red wine grapes the
skin is left on just a little bit to be
able to extract the color I’m really big
on blends and a lot of so many’s are
because the winemakers showing they know
where their grapes are coming from and
they know how to blend them all
perfectly together so here is a little
bit more important with a red wine
you’re going to check the color always
and you want to see from the rim to the
core if there is an even distribution of
color and you’re going to need to aerate
it a lot more because it really usually
has more alcohol and needs a little bit
more time out Neal
it’s got a lot of alcohol so you’re
gonna go in smelling very easily and you
can see the difference between white
rosy and red that there is a transition
to alcohol and much more fruit
