latest we’ll be doing a bit of an
interview but before then when I say
WatchMojo what’s the first thing you
think of probably top tens right
understandable we’ve got quite a
reputation for those but a lot of people
don’t realize we do a lot of other
contents as well a lot of other really
cool and exciting contents and if you’re
not aware of some of that content then

so recently we’ve been expanding our
content in order to find new cool ways
to bring you great stuff and in practice
that means that I recently got to go on
this really sweet road trip which we
call it the bolt to e3
the idea was to drive from San Francisco
to Los Angeles in order to attend III
when we got there
III of course is basically the mother of
all video gaming conventions since
depending on how you go about it this
can be a really nice Drive we decided to
take the scenic route invite some guests
and generally just have a good time
along the way our group consisted of
myself
Keisha Howard from sugar gamers Laurel
Aniyah of twitch Fame and JD Witherspoon
who’s becoming a really big player on
the YouTube scene and we got some cool
toys to go along with it Chevy lent us
some awesome electric cars to get us
there the both TVs and Nintendo gave us
each a Nintendo switch along the way we
also paid a visit to Nvidia who hooked
us up with some sweet Asus laptops
basically ensuring that we never get
bored we stopped at almost too many
places to list but to name a few we
checked out an old-school arcade in San
Francisco a very modern arcade and Santa
Cruz checked out invidious eSports
lounge at their HQ chilled with some
ostriches don’t ask
went for lessons at a boxing gym and
even rode in some dune buggies while
playing our Nintendo switches it seemed
like a good idea at the time we also
played a ton of games while we were in
the cars including one time where we
actually played between the cars using
the onboard Wi-Fi and the laptops all
along the way we were keeping track of
who won which games we had played so we
could crown a winner at the end well by
the time we got to LA me and Laurel were
tied so we settled it like they did in
the old days for the game show truth be
told I totally crashed the trivia but
got snaked by the judges of course after
all this was over we’re at the
convention but that’s a whole other
story speaking of which you can catch

this was basically a big shameless plug
but what the heck I got to go to e3 and
take a road trip whoo

obvious from seen you perform it is
hardwired into you to perform at what
age did you realize that was the case
you know I did the interview I didn’t

love it love it um to be honest of I’ve
been performing I’ve wanted to do make
music and be like a professional singer
since I was like four four or five I was
singing around the house like listening
to Jackson five like fives and just it’s
kind of what gave me kind of what gave
me life for you folks yeah I’ve always
performed to be honest it’s just kind of
what gave me my freedom and my joy and
my like escape in a sense of like
everyday of regular yeah so of you have
you always been into Motown no you
mention like to Stevie Wonder yeah yeah
I mean the likes of boys some and see
out on YouTube channel is that something
you’ve always been passionate about
those types of acts I don’t know what it
was you know what here’s the thing my
mom when she was pregnant
I took her turned in this conversation
when I’m always bring it she used to
listen to like a lot of reggae so and
like Jack like Motown and stuff and and
then the date I was the last album I
heard was Jackson five words I could
collect a collection of that big
greatest hits and on he found this out
the other day like I wonder if that was
like hardware and ingrain maybe because
I’ve always just loved old-school Motown
stuff and like none of my friends did
and it was like when I was like 17 they
would come in my car probably I want to
hear this seventies music from this
place I’m very relevant so I’m not old
school so I guess mm-hm now cool so you
basically conditioned to like that kind
of music you go out on your moms like
yes so I mentioned and you’ve played
with the likes of Justin Bieber and
things like that so how is that being I
mean the shift from doing YouTube video
and things like that and it’s crazy how
fast the world moves today especially
for you soft yeah I’m saying that I want
to I want to do the best I can do and I
feel like I would not want to give so so
I know you were and who did you actually
did earlier in your life you did a lot
of theater obviously to do theater you
need to be quite quite elaborate and
quite a you know quite a big performance
and that kind of comes across in the way
you before I mean showgirl last truck
you played then that is I’ve seen the
acoustic video of that where you’re
walking down the street and you know I
think there’s an old woman that walked
past you jump on and start singing and
she walked past and no but that that in
itself that is very theatrical is that
something that you think again has been
hard widen from an early age or I guess
I like I said before I thought I found
my like most happiness through music and
like singing in my bedroom like the
ability to sing was just like well it’s
the magical power you know I get this
that kind of just I heard you my own
thing and I’ve always I kind of used to
you could prob’ly tell from this
interview I used to be more awkward in
real-life situations and more
comfortable onstage to be honest with
you
yeah yeah I’m going around I’m keeping
you know but yeah we just
it’s a slope I just felt at home
performing to be honest with you unseen
Ian and writing and sharing any new
people and good vibes and I trying to
bring something like smiles to people I
guess yeah I mean in those acoustic

it’s like there’s a musical passion just
trying to screen to get oh and it’s kind
of like oh yeah no that’s great to see

that Justin Bieber earlier have you also
had a bit relationship with Ed Sheeran
as well yeah yeah I kicked him in the
head once by accident years ago ya know
I’ve known it for years like he used to
say my mom’s like so far okay he just
after a gig one time this was years ago
and he was like what are you going after
this so that home he’s like gotta say

know that I had a friend at my house

weirdest thing that’s like what since he
was like 16 and I’m seeing like the head
head like Glastonbury you know it’s like
amazing you know so ya know I just
trotted off to be honest with you it

that most of the world does already so
so is that some something you see
yourself doing headline and festivals is
that the kind of thing you want to do so
obviously there’s a lot of people who

of different region go down whether
that’s doing smaller gigs or doing I
mean Festival that is that is sort of
pinnacle is awesome you see stop doing
why not yeah I like as up as times move
I’ve been doing it for a while and like
initially I was kind of just focused on
our music and that’s my passion and and

present incarnate yourself not as good

and kind of just stretching myself I
don’t think of other creative ideas I
have so I’m I’m certainly not music I’m
working with a bank with the feds now we
just did Glastonbury the other week and

first time doing that and I just love to
be out on the stage and perform and give
the energy and I think while I’m here I

obviously I have name-dropped a few

or 12 months 18 months what can we look

love books on Friday we got album coming

a set and we also had a seven-foot clown

yeah that was that was pretty wild right
so if you haven’t seen the New York
event there are lots of highlights and
show reels and things like that the
other WatchMojo guys apart on youtube
but for those who didn’t catch that I’ve
had a little way with the guys and
they’ve put together a quick highlights
reel for us to take a look out so for
those who didn’t see it I’m gonna take a
look about now it’s Rebecca WatchMojo
held its first-ever lot of that earlier
this year at the YouTube space in New
York City and well let’s just say the
event was pretty legendary he brought
together innovators big thinkers movers
and shakers and some of the hottest new
acts for an epic live stream that was
seen by hundreds of thousands of mojo
holics the event featured the scratch
tastic skills of one of the finest
turntablist s– in the world
DJ kilojoule who killed it on the ones
and twos

we are also treated to a shimmering set
from psychedelic electronic music guru
Dan Deacon he’s toured with the likes of
Arcade Fire and Miley Cyrus and scored a
film by Francis Ford Coppola

Brooklyn rockers caveman delivered a
scorching set of catchy
indie rock that was chock-full of hooks
and who could forget the show-stopping
presence of puddles pity-party the sad
clown with the golden set of pipes that
brought the house down

latest we’ll be doing a bit of an
interview but before then when I say
WatchMojo what’s the first thing you
think of probably top tens right
understandable we’ve got quite a
reputation for those but a lot of people
don’t realize we do a lot of other
contents as well a lot of other really
cool and exciting contents and if you’re
not aware of some of that content then
take a quick look at this

so recently we’ve been expanding our
content in order to find new cool ways
to bring you great stuff and in practice
that means that I recently got to go on
this really sweet road trip which we
call it the bolt to e3
the idea was to drive from San Francisco
to Los Angeles in order to attend III
when we got there
III of course is basically the mother of
all video gaming conventions since
depending on how you go about it this
can be a really nice Drive we decided to
take the scenic route invite some guests
and generally just have a good time
along the way our group consisted of
myself
Keisha Howard from sugar gamers Laurel
Aniyah of twitch Fame and JD Witherspoon
who’s becoming a really big player on
the YouTube scene and we got some cool
toys to go along with it Chevy lent us
some awesome electric cars to get us
there the both TVs and Nintendo gave us
each a Nintendo switch along the way we
also paid a visit to Nvidia who hooked
us up with some sweet Asus laptops
basically ensuring that we never get
bored we stopped at almost too many
places to list but to name a few we
checked out an old-school arcade in San
Francisco a very modern arcade and Santa
Cruz checked out invidious eSports
lounge at their HQ chilled with some
ostriches don’t ask
went for lessons at a boxing gym and
even rode in some dune buggies while
playing our Nintendo switches it seemed
like a good idea at the time we also
played a ton of games while we were in
the cars including one time where we
actually played between the cars using
the onboard Wi-Fi and the laptops all
along the way we were keeping track of
who won which games we had played so we
could crown a winner at the end well by
the time we got to LA me and Laurel were
tied so we settled it like they did in
the old days for the game show truth be
told I totally crashed the trivia but
got snaked by the judges of course after
all this was over we’re at the
convention but that’s a whole other
story speaking of which you can catch

this was basically a big shameless plug
but what the heck I got to go to e3 and
take a road trip whoo

I suppose my first question it’s pretty
obvious from seen you perform it is
hardwired into you to perform at what
age did you realize that was the case
you know I did the interview I didn’t
know who these people okay
love it love it um to be honest of I’ve
been performing I’ve wanted to do make
music and be like a professional singer
since I was like four four or five I was
singing around the house like listening
to Jackson five like fives and just it’s
kind of what gave me kind of what gave
me life for you folks yeah I’ve always
performed to be honest it’s just kind of
what gave me my freedom and my joy and
my like escape in a sense of like
everyday of regular yeah so of you have
you always been into Motown no you
mention like to Stevie Wonder yeah yeah
I mean the likes of boys some and see
out on YouTube channel is that something
you’ve always been passionate about
those types of acts I don’t know what it
was you know what here’s the thing my
mom when she was pregnant
I took her turned in this conversation
when I’m always bring it she used to
listen to like a lot of reggae so and
like Jack like Motown and stuff and and
then the date I was the last album I
heard was Jackson five words I could
collect a collection of that big
greatest hits and on he found this out
the other day like I wonder if that was
like hardware and ingrain maybe because
I’ve always just loved old-school Motown
stuff and like none of my friends did
and it was like when I was like 17 they
would come in my car probably I want to
hear this seventies music from this
place I’m very relevant so I’m not old
school so I guess mm-hm now cool so you
basically conditioned to like that kind
of music you go out on your moms like
yes so I mentioned and you’ve played
with the likes of Justin Bieber and
things like that so how is that being I
mean the shift from doing YouTube video
and things like that and it’s crazy how
fast the world moves today especially
for you soft yeah I’m saying that I want
to I want to do the best I can do and I
feel like I would not want to give so so
I know you were and who did you actually
did earlier in your life you did a lot
of theater obviously to do theater you
need to be quite quite elaborate and
quite a you know quite a big performance
and that kind of comes across in the way
you before I mean showgirl last truck
you played then that is I’ve seen the
acoustic video of that where you’re
walking down the street and you know I
think there’s an old woman that walked
past you jump on and start singing and
she walked past and no but that that in
itself that is very theatrical is that
something that you think again has been
hard widen from an early age or I guess
I like I said before I thought I found
my like most happiness through music and
like singing in my bedroom like the
ability to sing was just like well it’s
the magical power you know I get this
that kind of just I heard you my own
thing and I’ve always I kind of used to
you could prob’ly tell from this
interview I used to be more awkward in
real-life situations and more
comfortable onstage to be honest with
you
yeah yeah I’m going around I’m keeping
you know but yeah we just
it’s a slope I just felt at home
performing to be honest with you unseen
Ian and writing and sharing any new
people and good vibes and I trying to
bring something like smiles to people I
guess yeah I mean in those acoustic
videos you can tell that there’s some
it’s like there’s a musical passion just
trying to screen to get oh and it’s kind
of like oh yeah no that’s great to see
yeah no it’s great so am i mentioned
that Justin Bieber earlier have you also
had a bit relationship with Ed Sheeran
as well yeah yeah I kicked him in the
head once by accident years ago ya know
I’ve known it for years like he used to
say my mom’s like so far okay he just
after a gig one time this was years ago
and he was like what are you going after
this so that home he’s like gotta say
your house
know that I had a friend at my house
how’s that
yeah cool common and in he stayed and
yeah he’s to see his journey that’s the
weirdest thing that’s like what since he
was like 16 and I’m seeing like the head
head like Glastonbury you know it’s like
amazing you know so ya know I just
trotted off to be honest with you it
sure is friend of mine he’s great go buy
his album most of you probably have it
that most of the world does already so
so is that some something you see
yourself doing headline and festivals is
that the kind of thing you want to do so
obviously there’s a lot of people who
would rather go down the there’s a lot
of different region go down whether
that’s doing smaller gigs or doing I
mean Festival that is that is sort of
pinnacle is awesome you see stop doing
why not yeah I like as up as times move
I’ve been doing it for a while and like
initially I was kind of just focused on
our music and that’s my passion and and
as okay no don’t mama kind of open
tonight different other things you know
I’m like a doing a bit of hosting
present incarnate yourself not as good
as you though and like some acting and
and kind of just stretching myself I
don’t think of other creative ideas I
have so I’m I’m certainly not music I’m
working with a bank with the feds now we
just did Glastonbury the other week and
that was amazing very surreal for me the
first time doing that and I just love to
be out on the stage and perform and give
the energy and I think while I’m here I
just want to give wherever is I have to
give I’m just gonna give it and people
like you they like you know you know so
obviously I have name-dropped a few
people here Justin be about cheer and
quite famous and so if we want to follow
what you’re doing in the next six months
or 12 months 18 months what can we look
forward to what have you got coming up
well currently I mean I’m working on
music and stuff but I’m also working
with the band called the fit yeah so we
got we’re doing a few festival doing
love books on Friday we got album coming
out with that and I’m I’m gonna have I’m
just gonna start putting out music
basically I’m freaking out I’m working
on music and I’m like do want to do an
album now finally or do I just want to
kind of put songs out I’m collaborating
with producers and stuff and yeah just
