I’m your host Laila going behind the
scenes with some students at the
National circus school
you wanna tell us honey Babbage how you
got interested in the circus well since
I’ve been young I sort of did all the
athletic sort of things gymnastics dance
and then in Toronto where I’m from I
heard about a recreational circus
program so I just took classes in the
afternoon and after school this is where
it got me now that you’re at the
National circus school can you tell us a
bit about your typical day so I’m in the
high school program so we still have our
high school subjects in the morning
we’ll have math English French and then
in the afternoon I’ll train for four
hours and also trout
about four hours of training and five
hours of school just long days measures
at 6:30 sometimes
what are some of your favorite
performance I really like doing aerial
things and contortion flexibility
a lot of variety at the school so
everyone has their what they prefer
doing
to me it’s really things in the air hi
thank you you know where you want to go
after when you finish school I’m hoping
to audition I’m auditioning for the
college program at this school finished
three years and then really traveled the
world and contracts and surface’ maybe
other major circuses and honestly see
all the placing and perform we thought
