there’s an intricate mineral balance
protein to calcium ratios etc etc that’s
why that’s always say don’t feed your
dog’s table scraps because it affects
their health over the long term and
finally have you ever tried the food yes
I have I have when I’m cooking smells
amazing and I’m always eating the
vegetables and the fruits but the
finished product yeah everything is
human gray so you can eat it’s actually
really good for you it just tastes
really medium of vegetarians so it’s
like wow this is this is a really meaty
which is what you know dogs love so do
you like to show us around the kitchen
sure so the first step is preparing the
vegetables in order for a dog to be able
to absorb for example the beta carotene
in a carrot it needs to be finely finely
ground or else it’ll just pass through
the system of course the meat beef heart
and liver we add very well cooked rice
brown rice and white rice so everything
is mixed by hand
until it’s very well mixed and then it’s
baked we bake it just until the meat
turns brown its cooled on the cooling
rack and once it’s cool we add the
minerals we have vitamin E zinc vitamin
B magnesium calcium carbonate manganese
kelp from Canadian ocean waters the bone
meal is from purified New Zealand veal
bones and everything is sent to a lab
and everything is human grade and then a
really important component is oil so we
have wild salmon oil the chicken recipe
takes safflower oil we have organic
first cold-pressed safflower oil and
also called liver oil once that’s all
mixed up everything is carefully
measured out and then vacuum-sealed one
of the reasons why we vacuum seal it is
that we can sell it fresh or frozen and
may also ship so we can easily ship
frozen product across Canada
