installment we’re checking out the first
wave of fallout 4 playthrough videos the
game was just released a few weeks ago
but there’s already a staggering amount
of let’s play content from it
today’s fix have started out strong and
should be fun to watch going forward so
let’s go cool all right
not a ton of stuff in here but it was
worth checking number 5 followed for
playthrough playlist channel I’ll chest
breach yeah goo kisses kisses alright so
before things get a bit wacky on this
countdown we figured we’d kick things
off with one of the most straightforward
playthroughs al chest breach was the
most popular entry on our last fallout
countdown so we’d be remiss if we didn’t
include his first foray into this
much-anticipated sequel credit where
credit’s due oh this is one of those
Let’s Plays that’s great if you want to
watch someone who’s very thorough
for example al takes the time to fully
examine the cryo chamber that he awakens
in hello anyone this is me you’re
looking for the opens his wife’s pod
checks every entry in the nearby
terminal etc so I am gonna be reading a
bunch of stuff I’m not gonna read out
loud if you want to read it go ahead
nope how even in the first hallway he
always checks out the multiple Pat’s
before following the quest marker
clearly he knows which game he’s playing
fans of the series will agree that
that’s the way it’s meant to be played
something which al seems acutely aware
of it’s definitely not all business
though welcome to my home
sometimes I get on the floor and like to
pose for people this is my sexy pose you
see I put my hand near my fingers and
then I get up and say welcome to my sexy
home as you can imagine the thorough
real-time nature of this playthrough
makes it better suited for long term
binge-watching impatient viewers might
find this style to be a bit dry but Al’s
built a strong base of fans around his
consistent quality and funny but not
overbearing commentary both of which are
on full display here
you can have the Holy Grail cani basket
boat and by your friends over you have a
baby crib make-believe here dead baby
sons back alive even though I don’t know
if it oh my god chewer you sleep in his
house you wanna sleep in his house
waiting one way what do you want it as
much as I enjoyed watching the series I
got a bit embarrassed by how quickly he
found the button to extend the bridge in
the assembly plant in episode 9 I can’t
be the only one who missed that at first
right number 4 fallout 4 no vats
survival difficulty playlist channel yup
because of my time in the Army taught me
one thing war never changes
instead war
war never changes how did I know that
most people like to save a challenge run
playthrough for their second or third
attempts at the game you know once they
know the ins and outs not yep here he’s
gone hardest and decided to pump the
difficulty up to survival on his first
playthrough
I’ll probably hate this but I am just
gonna do it he must be glad they’ve
improved the gunplay in Fallout 4 too
since he decided to forego the use of
bats as well so no vats mode survivor
difficulty fallout 4 here we freakin
good I should say that yup follows the
main storyline a fair amount in this
series probably more so than the other
entries we’ll see today if you’re the
type of person that likes to avoid major
storyline spoilers this might not be the
playthrough for you while you’ve channel
is the least well known one will see
today his style is tight he’s found a
great middle ground between completely
uninterrupted gameplay and highly edited
hyper screaming madness he cuts out any
overly long conversations or dead air
but he also isn’t afraid to throw in
some effects in editing to make a joke
look how she’s looking at me he looks so
good he’s so handsome
he’s also thrown in a suite previously
on fallout 4 montage at the beginning of
each episode which is not only a nice
touch but also less longtime viewers
pick up where they left off with ease if
there is one highlight from the first
dozen or so episodes he’s already
released it’s definitely his
relationship with Piper hey Piper

picks up the plucky reporter as his
companion which begins a running gag in
which he acts truly truly horrible

I’m definitely going to get my dog after
this mission yeah think about that lease
my dog didn’t say the same freaking line

Piper really is a Chatty Cathy of course
in my experience if you want to do wheel
you realize we’re in the middle of a
firefight during all of that right
number three fallout for playlist
channel stephenplays in other words I’m
really freaking excited to play this
game
considering how off-the-wall some of the
commentary gets in let’s play videos
what’s most striking about stephenplays
is how professionally is in his role as
host episode 1 begins with a calm and
collected introduction one where he
explains his methodology and encourages
fans to send him feedback as I start
fallout 4 today I’m going to be
recording these one at a time you’ll be
able to comment and tell me things that
you found things that you’d like me to
go explore and see and I look forward to
seeing what we can discover together
it’s definitely a breath of fresh air
especially for those of you who feel
that the average let’s play video is a
bit too zany this professionalism spills
over onto the whole series he’s clearly
poured over his character creation at
length detailing his reasoning behind
the distribution of stats and whatnot
this should just take a second
it feels like he’s settling in for the
long haul on this one
and he makes it pretty easy for viewers
to do the same considering that he did a
283 episode series on Skyrim it’s not
too much of a gamble to say that he
might do the same with the Boston
wanderer but this time went on many
people stopped doing Skyrim I did not
what could possibly take so long you may
ask well I should mention that he’s
trying to do a completionist run so he’s
trying to do everything in the game all
the quests everything just wanna make
sure I don’t miss anything did I go in
this one if you’ve ever played if it has
two RPG before he’ll know that this is a
daunting task to say fleece but it
guarantees a large amount of content I
mentioned earlier that feedback from his
users was something he’s encouraged in
this playthrough and that turns out to
be one of the better parts of the series
a cave where for example fans keep him
off that he has to go back to the red
rocket truck stop to find the cave that
he couldn’t find the first time around
unfortunately even with your directions
I’m not entirely sure where this cave oh
there this of course he still did better
than I did i scrapped the terminal that
told you about the cave so I never found
it anyway I was still new to the game
give me a break that’s it that’s it
except for the ceiling there’s stuff on
the cod you have to look up man if you
don’t look up you don’t get all this
stuff once again I don’t even know what
all this crap is number 2 fallout for
playlist channel yogscast lewis and
simon simon how you doing good
one of the best ways to play fallout
games is to have a distinct idea for
your character who he or she is what
their stat distribution will be what
kind of equipment they would use etc
lewis and simon from yogscast exemplify
this to a tee with their character rob
knack the barbarian a character ripped
streak from the laurel fallout itself
your character is the the male model
fabio no he’s not okay he he woke up all
the avenues adventure ii puffin some
gardens stuff was a copy of grognak the
barbarian
oh okay oh so he is grognak so I’ve got
a bit of amnesia I woke up I had a copy
of grognak and I thought I look like him
so I must be him okay and I’ve gone a
bit and I’m your trusty dog luck mate so
one concern when watching a series like
this is that key plot points or elements
of the game might be spoiled by watching
someone else play it the yogscast guys
definitely are quite accommodating in
this regard they promise to make their
first episode spoiler free at least as
far as the main storyline is concerned
that punch it punch it punch it Chewie
oh I’m not entirely sure if this
criteria follows through to the other
episodes but as a primer for episode 1
it’s a great idea actually if you’re new
to the series were still on the fence
about it this series might be a good
place to start as most of episode 1 is
devoted to showing off the new features
of this sequence so what you can do is
you can a lot of this other game
revolves around upgrading your stuff
okay so with the minigun I could put on
it so cool a shredder oh my god maybe
but that requires rank to have gun which
is a perk which I can show you in a
second anyway there grognak character
really only comes into his own in
episode 6 when the guys explored the
studio above the comic book store now
the jury’s still out on whether or not
they knew where to find the grognak
costume but that reaction does sound
pretty genuine so we want to be broke
man
we don’t want to be the silver shroud oh
shit we nearly missed that increases the
words strength and melee damage
you got a hound
I need to take the officer the guys
aren’t actually skilled enough to get
grognak axe in this episode though
although it’s sitting right there in
front of them in a locked display case
so you have to check back a few episodes
later for them to complete the ensemble
funnily enough they try to use dogmeat
to glitch it out of the case for them
but alas they’re forced to do with the
legitimate way and spend the perk points
in order to pick the lock
remember that technique though it’s
gonna come up in our next century

channel game society pimps don’t look at
my husband okay my husband is not
dangerous everyone he won’t hurt you oh
god if you felt that our last few
entries didn’t have enough irreverent
commentary and look no further than the
game society pimps
can’t believe I have to say that with a
straight face at a glance it’s easy to
see what sets this series apart from its
peers like yogscast lewis and simon
it features commentary from two hosts
instead of just one oh you can choose a
pip-boy color beautiful yes look at that
Wow that that is fabulous
I don’t this is really fast okay let’s
try it out for a little while but I’m
not completely sold wow this is clearly
used to deliver a lot of the jokes it
helps to fill up a lot of the dead air
that arises in so many of these
playthroughs just the amount of fun they
get out of their character creator
abomination is pretty golden what the
capital he used to be a wizard while
every playthrough has to do the same
beginning part which can get a bit
repetitive once you’ve seen it a few
times the game pimps do their best to
spice it up with their commentary why
didn’t they put these Halloween
decorations all over the floor this is a
thread that runs through the two
episodes of the series that have been
released so far a decent mix of screwing
around and oh you know playing the
actual game I think that’s a nice
resting spot for this mole rat yeah I’m
gonna leave him right there yes so if
anybody comes along they’ll they’ll see
old man mole rat sitting there in his
chair one caveat however is that while
the gameplay is essentially
uninterrupted aside from a few edits to
speed things up you can hardly ever hear
any of the dialogue from the NPC’s
amidst the steady stream of banter what
brought you out here the never-ending
quest for throbbing penis and my son
remember that glitch I mentioned that
the yogscast guys tried to use well it
works for the game pimps who use dogmeat
to fetch the cryolator which is
technically out of reach behind a master
lob a lot what a magical dog
oh yeah yep oh my God look how did you
get that out of there this is pretty
ironic because if you rewind the video
only a few minutes you’ll see that they
were seconds away from pulling an Old
Yeller on him all right dog I’m gonna
put you down okay all right can it
