Top 10 Things We Want to See in GTA 6

please Rockstar make our dreams come
true good plan let’s go alright welcome
to watchmojo.com and today we’re
counting down our picks for the top 10
things we want to see in GTA 6
before we begin we publish new videos
every day so be sure to subscribe for
more great content for this list we’ll
be counting down the gameplay elements
and additions that we would like to see
make it into the next Grand Theft Auto
instalment number 10 battle ground mode
in online while GTA online was and is
ambitious it lacks some gameplay variety
the online portion only contains up to
30 players if the surface can even
manage that
and most of the time it just sort of
devolves into total anarchy player
unknowns battlegrounds has since been
released and has demonstrated how you do
large-scale multiplayer correctly with
up to a hundred people battling it out
on a massive map which gets
progressively smaller to discourage
camping this sort of multiplayer mode oh
and Rockstar just added this mode to GTA
5 laughs your looks like our work is
done here
you’re welcome everybody nothing to see
here
number nine deeper connections to
previous GTA titles it was a an Eastern
European guy making moves in Liberty
City but he went quiet while we don’t
necessarily need a GTA extended universe
with characters pumping in and out of
each other’s games and setting up
large-scale plot points for later titles
some deeper connections to each would be
kind of cool in the past all we’ve ever
received where Easter eggs or throwaway
missions of past characters but wouldn’t
it be even better if more past
protagonists showed up for a mission or
two it would be a welcome treat for fans
and would give our favorite characters
another chance to shine number eight
single player DLC okay Rockstar
absolutely rocked the DLC for GTA 4 with
both the lost in the Damned and The
Ballad of Gay Tony being released over a
year and offering substantial campaigns
sorry to waste your time mister you are
not going anywhere until we have an
arrangement this streak looked to
continue with Grand Theft Auto 5 but as
we all know no single player DLC ever
saw the light of day this infuriated
many gamers
with critics calling out rockstar for
focusing more on the online portion and
not even addressing the lack of campaign
DLC if Rockstar doesn’t wish to upset
even more customers we hope to see the
return of story DLC for the sixth
installment then I guess a bad thing
Tony what do you think number seven
bring back celebrities intimidate those
who intimidate others Carl it’s my job a
huge bragging right for the Grand Theft
Auto series used to be it’s incredible
casts numerous big names lent rockstar
their voices over the years including
but not limited to Ray Liotta Burt
Reynolds Dennis Hopper crisp Panvel
Collins and even samuel l.jackson just
to name a few
things are going pretty well for you car
while the recent cast have undoubtedly
been spectacular
help gta5 made steven august star
they’ve been missing the big names which
have always worn today hey is that guy
sure a few celebrities have played
themselves in recent iterations like
Ricky Gervais and Lazlo but it’s just
not the same the one died I wear white
boxer shorts big wet punch from the way
number 6 destructible environments
we know we’re totally asking for a lot
here but seriously how crazy would
destructible environments be in the
world of GTA while we don’t need entire
skyscrapers crumbling to dust like
battlefield some level of
destructibility would be a welcome
addition imagine destroying enemy cover
with an RPG or blowing up a column and
sending a roof crashing down
it would be insane amounts of fun and
would further enhance the already
fantastic sense of immersion plus it
would add an interesting new layer to
the cover based third-person combat
number five official mod support
PC gaming and modding go together like
spaghetti and meatballs
Grand Theft Auto has been the subject of
some fantastic mods like fire-breathing
cats and zombie invasions but they’ve
all been created and launched through
third-party applications many developers
and games have implemented official mod
support in recent years including
fallout 4 and The Witcher 3 and the
games have only gotten better because of
it
however Rockstar hasn’t released
official editing tools and take to even
sent a cease-and-desist to open for a
popular modding platform the case was
soon abandoned due in large part to fan
backlash so come on guys your games are
ripe for modding please just make it
official
number four less filler missions
remember Floyd this can go real wrong
real quick
the ladies Grand Theft Auto games have
been expansive works of art and their
campaigns have been ambitious projects
in and of themselves it’s too bad that
they keep populating some missions with
needless filler Grand Theft Auto 5 had
numerous filler sequences like being
forced to do yoga working on the docks
or mopping the floors of an office
building we guess you could argue that
that builds tension and helps with
immersion but it’s just not you know fun
tighter more concise missions would be
ideal for future releases Union thinks
you’ll get eyestrain if you work any
longer have a break number three more
interiors while the cities of GTA are
massive dense and incredibly detailed
this seems to only apply to the
exteriors interiors have always felt
severely lacking in a series and it kind
of makes the world feel like empty
shells while you could enter a few
buildings like players homes and shops
99.9% of the structures seemingly have
reinforced concrete entrances because
ain’t nobody getting through them while
we’re not asking for literally every
building to be open for exploration more
than the usual set of repeated interiors
would be nice
number two a female playable character
since GTA’s inception all of the
playable characters have been male while
many have gone on to become gaming icons
all complaints about diversity aside it
would just be completely new if you had
a female protagonist if Rockstar
continues with the multiple character
approach and we think they should here
we could get the best of both worlds
[Music]
dude the Grand Theft Auto series
attracts tens of millions of gamers and
reaches a huge range of people so we
don’t think it’s too outrageous to mix
up the chromosomes of the protagonist
right so what if the investors won’t get
their money back they’re making art
right before we look at our topic here’s
an honorable mention
number one a new city
[Music]
is it just us or is everyone else a
little sick of New York in California
the GTA series loves to remain loyal to
its creations as we’ve seen numerous
iterations of San Andreas Liberty City
and Vice City while these cities are
gorgeous we think it’s about time that
the series went somewhere else maybe
Tokyo or Tijuana in San Diego heck we
actually have a list of cities we want
to see in our top ten cities we’d love
to see parodied in Grand Theft Auto sign
us up for that even if we have to stay
in the states because we know Grand
Theft Auto is a parody of the United
States there are still a ton of
interesting cities which could be
explored and Rockstar should take
advantage of that fact we want to
explore somewhere we’ve never been and
we’re sure we’re not the only ones here
now I bid you farewell sir and don’t do
all that smack at once on second thought
you know go ahead do do you agree with
our picks check out these other great
clips from WatchMojo and subscribe for
