business to eliminate the one who
defeated his sibling as proof of his
superiority they can’t hide forever

planet while Kula doesn’t exactly have
the same gravitas or legacy as Frieza
he does have a pretty awesome final form
one that actually managed to get in a
few good hits on Goku at least until he
discovered The Legend of the super scene

from there it wasn’t long before he
we’re not sure what happened to go hand
in between his fight with Sal and
heading off to college but our favorite
scene of spring certainly seemed to lose
a lot of that primal rage for those of

this flick is all about our boy kicking
ass with Goku still kicking it in the
afterlife it’s down to his son to take
on the threat of a would-be galactic

satisfying it is to see Gohan once again

freezers back baby while not quite
managing to live up to the awesomeness
of its predecessor the alien tyrants
destroying a city is such a fun way to
say hello not only did it reinforce
freezers place as the most entertaining
and vicious Fogo who has ever faced but
it also opened up the gateway for a
there’s a power it’s amazing golden
freezes entrance along with the
revelation that is Super Saiyan blue
we’re both rousing successes each
helpings have paved the way for the
reveal of DB Z’s true successor series
in the form of Dragon Ball super hey
just take it easy buddy that’s not what
it looks like number 5 Bardock the
father of Goku his tale may not have
been that of a hero but it was

originally nothing more than a
bloodthirsty warrior bodachs entire life
changed when he found himself imbued
with psychic abilities which just so
happened to clue him in on how Frieza
was about to make their home planet of
Vegeta go kaboom our bizarre it is clear
as day I can go inside of his mind
despite his best efforts he’s unable to
stop events from coming to pass
perishing in the fire of freezes
overwhelming power however he is given
some solace when he foresees his son
eventually stand up to his killer I
would have guessed Goku had such a
badass
dad Frieza listen up we quit all of us
got it we don’t work for you
number four Broly the legendary super
you know it we know it Rolly is one of
the most badass villains to ever grace a
franchise even if he is nothing more
than an overwhelming mass of muscles and
screens
with an unnatural hatred of Goku in the
short time he was on screen Broly wasted
no time in plowing his way through most
of the cast with absolute ferocity if
you wish not to fight back I understand
but I am going to destroy this planet no
matter what decimating opponents left
and right it’s a miracle that Goku
managed to land at that finishing blow
when he did sure it’s not like we had
seen the last of Brawley but nowhere is
his savagery more on display than in his
debut number three the history of trunks
here you go trunks you stand there and
watch while I almost drowned and then
you offer me a towel yep Android 17 and
painting was certainly powerful foes
even strong enough to cripple a Super
Saiyan Vegeta without any worry that
being said we weren’t as petrified of
them as trunks seemed to be then we saw
this special and we saw everything in a
new light
set in an alternative future we finally
get to explore trunks as origins and how
he managed to access the super saiyan

the loss of his mental Gohan watching
this will taint of ruined by 17 and
paintings genocide or rampages after
bearing witness to such horrors we have
a whole different level of respect and
sympathy for the time traveler why tell
me why are you doing this

the title sure the villain may not

comes this glorious flick with a
narrative packed with all the elements
that made Dragon Ball Z special plus a
somewhat hilarious somewhat terrifying
antagonist in the form of beerus battle
of gods breathed new life into the
beloved franchise with its comedic beats
