The Boat Show – Wake Boats

so I’m with Andrew whose representative
from Malibu thanks very much for being
with us my pleasure how r wakeboarding
boats different than let’s say speed
boats or recreational boats of this size
basically the idea of my the wakeboard
boat is you want a lot of weight in the
boat so we’ve got ballast like basically
fill up a water which ways the boat down
so it makes a bigger wake basically
you’ve got compartments in each storage
bin the back you’ve got compartments or
you’ve got water that goes in that we
call ballast you’ve got two in the back
one the middle one the front you also
the wedge in the back which is another
thing that you deploy in the back that
adds on about a thousand pounds also oh
great it’s basically ideas to make a
bigger awake and its really a hall
designed to make a weight compared to a
speedboat where you want the surface
more to go faster and are there
different types of wakeboarding boats
like bigger ones for a larger amount of
people or yeah yeah there’s all the
different sizes like if you leave and
our lineup like you look at this boat
right here which is at Malibu vtx it’s a
20-foot it’s about 10 people and you’ve
got the bigger one to DLX which is a 21
a half you got the 23 which is lsv and
also the weights that are 47 LSG
