Simon Chang Interview

I’m joyner now with Simon Chang we just
watched your collection here at Montreal
Fashion Weekend it’s such a great great
collection your usage of fabrics I
noticed there was lots of print right
future of print well I like lots of
texture in my fabric I think that makes
the collection more individual I think
we got to create newness of texture and
details you know there’s so much out
there globally and I think for us just
for me to stand out you got it you got
to create something a little more more
unusual so that what I had a great time
doing it so you’re an inspiration to
other up-and-coming designers to teach
fashion because you seem to to give up
that aura I love I love fashion and I
any student or anybody that wants to
talk with me I always open for
suggestions or if I can help them I
think you know we need the new
generation to pass on to pass on the
torch of fashion and design exciting to
get new blood into the industry and and
I think we need an injection we’re gonna
see you I’m sure for another 20 more
years in fashion and design and then of
course passing the torch down to other
