evoque this is actually the smallest
lightest most fuel-efficient Range Rover
ever introduced by land rover which is
the overall brand family it’s roughly I
guess about almost 40 centimetres 17
inches shorter than the large range
rover but the lightest fuel efficient so
we have a four-cylinder turbocharged
engine turning 40 horsepower but
obviously very fuel efficient so this
will be kind of the start of the Range
Rover family will see a little bit more
delineation between the Range Rover
models and Land Rover models the range
were being kind of more urban very very
the top premium land rover models still
being very premium but the more
functional utilitarian towing so we’ll
see more kind of a divergence but this
is very exciting being the first Range
Rover a product and will be the least
expensive land rover product to and what
about the design of the brand new book
where did that come from there was an l
RX concept car a number of years ago and
actually the final version here looks
actually pretty close to that original
concept car which is very unusual
because quite often the concept cars or
you can’t translate that into production
but our engineers have done a phenomenal
job here so it’s actually quite
deceiving because it’s got this very
coupe-like appearance it’s actually very
spacious inside but for adults and
luggage so we think it’s going to be a
very good hit and what kind of buyer do
you think we’ll go for the evoke like
who is your target market we would
expect a younger more urban you know so
it may be single there may be a young
couple but you know it still has that
space it still has that great land rover
all-wheel drive but we do think it’ll be
certainly more urban and when can we
expect to see it on the road a little
less than a year from now hopefully
you’ll see a lot of them on the road a
