collection can you tell us a little bit
about Cody collection Cody collection is
a what as we say is a collection of some
of our most famous and historical
bottles from the past and we try and tie
it as well to the present of code was
the inspiration behind the collection
why was it developed we really wanted to
celebrate the heritage of francois cody
and what he meant to the modern
fragrance industry a lot of people say
that Francois Cody is the one who
started that this is back in 1904 when
he introduced his new fragrance his
first fragrance to the market before
that you would go into a pharmacy store
and a and the pharmacist would mix up
some oils and put it in a little glass
bottle for you but Francois had the idea
to put that into a bottle to create
pieces of art to give them a name how
can we differentiate the bottles from
each other what is unique about each
bottle there are two main designers that
Francois used and really some people say
gave their start his letter start to one
was rene lalique and he really started
with Francois he became very popular
because of the design work that he did
with Francois as I said before what
Francois was trying to do was not only
create product but also create pieces of
art and he was so enamored by Renee’s
work that he commissioned him to I try
to understand what he was trying to do
with a brand and give his interpretation
into the in the bottle and the other the
other common design that he used a very
famous design that used the beginners
background which was a very different
design not as complex but still very
very beautiful in terms of its angles
and the way the light played off the
bottle
so two very very different but very
famous looks that fast why to employ to
bring his fragrances to the public there
are personal significance behind the
kata collection for you yes I i think
that with françoise’s History and
ourselves as a company being the leaders
in the fragrance industry today again
