Movember actually started back in 2003
in Australia which is mulford for the
mustache and November so the month of
November so just a couple guys that
started doing this moustache macho thing
to raise awareness for prostate cancer
what started out with a few guys really
blossomed into a whole bunch of guys in
Australia then it jumped from country to
country does this speak to you guys
personally my dad had prostate cancer so
when I heard that we were going to do
this I really jumped into it and you
know this is a cause that’s really close
to everyone’s heart and really
surprising but it was really good to do
they sent one in seven men will actually
be diagnosed with prostate cancer so
when we’ve been asking around a lot of
people seem to be affected somehow all
people know people and your family or
friends who’ve been affected by it so
this is just a fun way to try to raise
awareness and raise some funds do you
think there’s not maybe not enough
emphasis placed on the importance of you
know getting regular check-ups and males
in particular taking closer attention to
their health so there’s a ninety-five
percent cure rate for prostate cancer if
it’s diagnosed early enough so I think
that’s one of the key things to try to
raise awareness as much as possible if
women wanting
help somehow obviously they can’t grow a
mustache what how can they help out
actually the most sisters that we call
them their their aim and goal is to
recruit the mo brothers if you want it’s
not only about the mustache its to get
people to actually talk about it the
sisters and the rudders are as important
have you guys had any positive effects
from the mustaches or are you kind of
itching literally and figuratively to
get rid of that I hit all the mirrors in
my house so I don’t be good the positive
was gone enjoy the nice clean feeling it
was like a baby’s bum
