hey what’s up my name is David and I’m
here for watch aaj kaam today I’m going
to be talking to you about a really cool
unique retailing concept it’s called the
marsh a MTL and for those of you don’t
know marche is the French word for
market let’s go inside and check out
what there is to be seen then I’m Alexis
Walker and I’m in the manager of the
marche minh trail so the marshy material
rents space to young designers and
artists to to showcase their product so
you just want me to say that again just
saying ok so the Martian montrell
provides space for designers to come in
and set up their own their own booth to
sell their own stuff so they come in at
the beginning of the month they pay us
and they set up their booth in whatever
way they want but at the same time we
also provide a community for young
artists and designers to learn from each
other and on their own they can build up
their connections they can build up
their experience and seeing what
actually works for them what they can
sell what doesn’t sell so I’m also the
designer and owner of a small
montreal-based label named fauna
whatever usually sells here is what I
seriously consider making a lot of to
sell in all of my stores so what was it
again you the why it’s good here those
ouya understood so it’s a good it’s a
good place to test out hahahahaha
products as a designer because I think
designers a lot of times make things
that they like but what you like isn’t
necessarily what a lot of people are
going to like
