now you using primarily in Spanish we’ve
also done some work in English do you
plan to expand on that I like embracing
the environment where I am where I leave
you know people that I hang with
obviously I leave you know most of my
life in English with if you give me love
which is my first English song i feel
that i open the door but now i need to
walk through i would like to go to
english because i feel English no
because I all maybes maybe gonna make me
sell more cds because the truth is that
nobody selling CDs anymore what a lot to
do for next upcoming albums hopefully
write some English songs that tell as
much as I say in Spanish as well you
know and I probably do the same song in
Spanish as well them to sort of create
up variety which I think it’s all always
to the advantage of the decision what
kind of subjects or themes do you like
to sing about mostly I write about love
but because love us so many different
faces and at the same time is only one
is it’s an infinite matter you know and
I approached it in a different many
different ways you know the love that we
as humanity and fearfully show or the
love that need to be there it’s not only
the love between the couple what I’m
saying it is love everywhere you can say
in many different ways
you worked with nelly furtado on her
spanish language album and you’ve also
worked with some other songwriters start
your career can you tell us about these
experiences well the first one was of
ron sexsmith for me is like the Bob
Dylan kinda you know it happened with my
first album we wanted to have a little
bit of English in the song to go to
ready with it and run section I did a
beautiful collaboration but we never met
he did it he did his song part there and
then I wanted in mind and we never met
until later then it comes blue rodeo
which for me he was something that I
really enjoy because it was it was
pretty much like a citizenship test you
know blue rodeo for English Canada is

interesting because she comes to me was

told me I’m the reason why she chose me
to do it is because she got ahold of my
music and she thought that my writing
