hi I’m Lisa sim I’m doing makeup today
for watchmojo.com I have my lovely model
here and Menuhin and Manuel is gonna be
my assistant we were going to do a
certain type of look that’s like
inspired by Black Swan so we’re going
from the cinema to the street and then
you all have you ever done ballet do you
want to look like this
psycho ballerina no couple that we’re
gonna still gonna do it anyways okay so
if you’re a fair girl you have a pale
skin you know I mean a tan for you is
looking like a sheet of loose-leaf this
is probably to be a really cool look for
you so we’re gonna start with a little
bit of foundation I’m using the sim
minerals loose mineral foundation in
barely there and cashmere so it’s like
next to nothing
grind it starting on the jaw line and
we’re just gonna do small circles is
great just for absorbing the little bit
of EXO redness in her skin instead of
using a concealer we can just stay a
little bit longer on areas that require
a little bit more attention I’ll even go
on to the lip itself so whatever color
you’re gonna put on top of it afterwards
it’s gonna be a lot more pure so it’s
like whether you’re like doing a pale
shade your lips naturally have a lot of
color into it if you want that color to
be true neutralize it first what I’ll do
know is actually called vanilla and this
is one of these our Bond colors and I
like we’re gonna use that as an
eyeshadow base for the entire lid we’re
going to accentuate that color on the
inner corner and pull it out this one is
called Sam this I can use actually at
the topi shade I can use it on her brow
I can use it in her crease as well so
with the double angle which really cool
about it is that it comes to a point
there’s four sides to it so as you move
it back and forth on the lid it’s all
gonna blend itself out I can follow the
shape of her eye starting in the outer
corner dragging it towards the center of
the eye and all that does is just create
a little bit of a shadow into the crease
I’ll take the same color I’ll take a
small angle brush kolinsky sable we’re
gonna do a little filling out of the
eyebrow so always starting at the top
line of the brow
you’ll take a spoolie brush afterwards
and brush the route so this is gonna be
something that can be abused for a night
time going out it’s gonna be a little
bit edgy if you feel like wearing you
know something a little bit more rock
and roll if you want to be wearing some
leather a little bit of studs type of
thing so we’re gonna use a color with
some minerals it’s an eye gem it’s
called platinum so this is a pure white
that has a little bit of shine to it a
lot of shine and I’m gonna get a little
bit of a smaller brush this is the mini
deluxe the fluff okay this one has a
double two sides to it
okay we’re gonna use a larger size we’re
gonna add it into the inner corner it’s
actually like almost going right up onto
the bridge of the nose I’m gonna put it
underneath the arch of the brow and
we’re gonna put it right onto the top of
the cheekbone so it kind of just does
this like kind of a little bit of a
swirl to it little swish to it and we’ll
do the inner corner lower lashline okay
so for the next step is like contrasting
the light with some dark I’m gonna use
this one because our bonds black out I’m
gonna take a little bit of eyeliner
sealer you can use a little bit of water
you can use a little toner this is a
professional tackle on mascara fan is a
specialty product you’ll have to look
online for this maybe at Sephora I know
what do the coolest little lines you
know cuz there is that effect that’s
going on it’s almost like look at
whiskers and we’re gonna just do that
across the lower lid just kind of like
how you would take eyeliner and try to
dis a little swish upwards like a little
bit of a cat eye you’re gonna do the
same motion but you know using the
mascara thing so it looks really really
cool where you had those little lines
and so we had that lightness behind it
the black looks really contrasted it
looks a lot sharper so once we’re done
with that little mascara fan putting on
the blackout eye shadow a little bit wet
we can follow up with a liquid eyeliner
now he wants and that’s gonna be a
little bit more graphic a really sharp
line that’s not gonna double up because
if we use a regular pencil has a
tendency to like end up going into the
crease and smudging a little bit so he
want something’s gonna be really
precision in this case this is gonna do
the cat eye eyeliner I’m just using my
finger right now just to like lift the
lash line
much as possible and I’m just gonna let
it extend past her natural line take
your time with this one okay like I know
we everybody’s in a rush they want to
see what the eyeliner looks like
afterwards but it’s gonna be a disaster
if you open up and then you have it all
doubled up and everything you’ll have to
start from scratch afterwards so keep
your eyes closed please actually go back
afterwards with a small angled brush
with the black out eye shadow and to
seal that one on top I want you looking
straight up and bring it right on to the
inner corner because if you remember in
black salon she has like the two points
I coming back in on the inner corner
we’re gonna go straight across with the
shadow this is the time that we can go
in with a black eyeliner in pencil
this one is Eponine from our bond it’s
an automatic so it just rolls up there’s
no sharpening and we’ll put that on the
waterline and it just gives that really
intensive black appearance around the
eye and then all you do now is do a
little bit of curling a little bit of
mascara tops and bottoms
we really don’t want to add any color to
the face we want to define a cousin
Black Swan she really has like some like
kind of like a black shadow going on
that’s defying the hollow of the cheek
which is great for if you’re on stage
but I’m like you’re gonna be at the bar
you may not want to do that because
that’s kind of like Morticia Addams so
we’re going to bypass that we’re just
gonna take a look actually a little bit
of a darker foundation or even a bronzer
could like substitute in this case but
what we’re gonna do is gonna apply it to
the hollow of the cheek in the hollow
the cheek is basically when you go to
the middle of the ear angling it
downwards and stopping at the corner of
the eye so I just have a little bit of
ice coffee this is a darker foundation
shade from cinnamon rolls now Black Swan
had a really intense lip color it’s
almost like it was like a black eyeliner
with like a blood red lipstick on top of
that like I don’t think that’s it so
we’re gonna go I think what we’re gonna
have is just more of like a darker lip
gloss something that still has some
transparency to it we’re not gonna do
any lip laying that way it keeps it a
little bit more modern there’s a whole
lot of action going up on the eyes so
we’re just gonna contrast that keep the
color but do a sheer application of loss
this one is also from Arbonne this is
called raisin I’m just gonna take a
little bit off there
and just press that together
final thing is going to go back to the
lightest shade it’s gonna be the
platinum and we’re gonna use it wet this
time just in little areas inner corner
of the eye
perhaps the middle of the lid as well
underneath the Archer brow have a look
what do you think about this Wow is it
really like Black Swan is the same thing
it’s the exact same thing but better cuz
you’re not so you’re not actually psycho
I want to thank Emmanuelle for being my
Black Swan today my name is Lisa sin
