out warp tour where we spoke with you me

do you want to talk to me a bit about
sinners never sleep yeah what you want
to know I want to know what you were
going for and now that it’s ruminated
for a bit how do you feel about it what
we were going for like an all-around
rock record that was more rocky than
held me down a last one I think we
definitely got that with songs like bite
my tongue like kind of got a bit heavier
we didn’t hang to go and write this
album we just wanted to write new songs
and these these are songs over there if
you like heavier sums of your playing
with that we thought maybe wouldn’t go
on it but yeah everything just yeah it’s
really cool I like the way that we have
we have songs like by my time and time
is money with like Winston from parkway
drive on it and then the next song could
be a ballot but it still works you know
I think we’ve always been able to merge
like a lot of different genres into one
CD and make it flow still and not seem
out of place so I’m really proud of the
CD it’s definitely up everyone we’ve
done
we talk about the single no one does it
better of course we just wanted a cool
like summary American vibe because it’s
quite a quite summary poppy song so he
wanted to portray that in the video we
filmed it a few months ago in LA and
it’s out on YouTube now the concept
there was drive the sweet car around the
desert and I just look cool i think that
was not the concept there was the now
acting involved really i sat in the back
of a car Josh sang a little bit or mind
yeah and then we were at in the middle
of nowhere it’s I’m like our banded and
like gas station plus they’re like
they’re like some people like acting out
like scenes that no one does it better
than like sort of loving each other and
doing fun stuff and kind of hanging out
basically
I give this road
last year at the kraang wards I’m sure
you know what happened but i will tell
people who don’t know what happened they
were named Best British bands we were
does that put the pressure on or is it
just a nice accolade to have in the
collection I think it’s just a really
cool thing to have I mean we won it we
won it last year we want at this year
again so we haven’t got any worse
technically well we got we got nominated
for five different awards and out all of
them the one we really wanted to get and
keep hold of what’s best British band so
we’re really happy we did it and we’re
up against and like maiden and all these
old-school British like huge huge fan so
we didn’t expect to win but again it was
a complete surprise and it was really
good yeah the night was fun we are we
went for it pretty hard that night a lot
of drinking involved lots of fly-in it’s
always just the culmination of like 50
pounds in one room yeah it was like us
us bring the horizon yeah bullet for my
valentine like just all these badges
absolutely hammered in the same place so
you can imagine what happens when all
these people get together and get a
messy and the same when I was born with
Reggie ozios when was that fellas check
black that was also I got a photo Jack
back punished him and yeah we went to
this hotel and swinging from some
lampshades and slow ended up in the hot
tub yeah skip solid night
speaking of Bring Me The Horizon you
guys worked with oli sykes on a song we
did
any plans to collaborate with him again
or with anyone in the future I’m not
sure it kind of came around really quick
we hadn’t planned obviously we had
Winston from parkway drive in the city
as well we hadn’t actually plan to have
any guests or anything but then after we
wrote these songs there’s just a few
bits that we can really find vocals for
but it just sounded heavy as anything so
we thought I’ll it’s called up a friend
see who’s interested in doing it and
Josh sang on bring me the horizon’s last
CD as well so it was kind of like
repaying the favor sort of thing I don’t
know if we have any plans to do it again
but and we do like working with other
artists so I’m sure I not future CDs and
stuff we’ll find something and so
happens you aiming to get like maybe
like Tom Jones or something on the next
I’ll go Stevie Wonder or a doubt yeah
I’ll be given that something like around
those lines different worlds you know
Tom Jones is a different world from the
man sex bomb he’s a player as well yeah
it’s not unusual way like that that was
