quartet
so guys before you begin can you guys
introduce yourselves and tell us what
you do in the van well this guy this guy
here his name’s Charles yeah he’s a
singer in the band I’m Patrick the
drummer in the band I’m Vince I play
bass synth I’m jean-michel I play guitar
and so you guys have a distinct sound
electro pop rock can tell us a little
bit more about that it’s always so hard
to to answer that question but I mean we
love keyboards so it’s dance pop I don’t
like indie rock because it’s it’s a lot
around the synthesizers yeah we’ll have
pop music we love dance music so it
sounds like what do you would you think
I call it Glock rocket because we like
we like the glockenspiel a little too
much I think
speaking of songwriting what is your
inspiration we did like the first EP
like right after I came back from
England I had a band called lady grey
and we played a lot of guitar songs when
when I got back to Montreal I decided
okay I’m gonna write on the keyboards to
find like different sounds and this is
how it started I just wrote a couple of
songs call my friend Vince and we mix
that all together it came to a better
girl after a while and all those songs
are about the city about the about the
girl about like moving in the big city
and like all this deduction and and the
stuff that happens in big cities
you guys are named winter gloves does
that have anything to do with being
based out of Montreal I’m kind of nailed
it winter feels like it’s eight months
out of the year a lot of fans been
saying it like they find our music warm
and fuzzy and cozy and happy and when
you put on your winter gloves it’s kind
of how it feels you know so that’s the
time’ll to call ourselves that
me
