who did you guys all grew up listening
to I was a kind of a warped tour kid and
I grew up on vans like blink-182 and
Jimmy world green day that kind of stuff
but also there’s a huge like 80’s
influence i would say and I’m our music
bands like The Cure new order Depeche
Mode Duran Duran that kind of air as
well here’s a random side note question
favorite 80 song ever that’s a hard
question it’s off the top of my head I’d
say privatized by halle notes I would
probably say hungry like the wolf by
duran duran
how would you guys describe your music
to save my grandmother fun bouncy catchy
pop rock sinfin views pop rock we need
an easier way to describe its de vive
now you guys have done a few covers of
like lady gaga rihanna and kanye first
of all how did you choose those songs to
cover we wanted to do just dance because
it was a really popular song at the time
we were doing some support tours in the
UK supporting other bands there and I
think it’s always good to have a cover
to break the ice because some of the
kids knew who we were but for the people
that were just discovering us it’s just
a way to kind of get people singing
along is it tough to stay upbeat and
poppy all the time no because for us
like we’re writing pop songs not all of
them are happy though some of them are
kind of nostalgic heartbreak songs and
some of them are just totally like goofy
I think there’s a range of emotion I
think especially the later tracks on a
record like nothing stays like are just
more atmospheric and not quite as poppy
so i think is a range of emotion on the
record the world’s a pretty depressing
depressing place and the I think our
music is kind of can be a bit of
escapism for the people that are
listening to it end for us as well to be
able to go out and and perform these
songs in a nightly basis
I guess you guys could sort of be
considered like a boy band I don’t know
how you feel about that but I don’t mind
doing people can think whatever they
want i mean if they want to cause a boy
then fine I I think we’re I don’t think
we totally fit that category because
that are we don’t have like coordinated
yeah dance that’s gonna be the second
leg we’re gonna have the coordinated
dance Manaus question i I’ve been
listening to a lot of backstreet boys to
recently there’s so many good songs i
listen to their greatest hits album wow
so your prep this part every song is
amazing you’re my new best friend I’m
