loud and aggressive that’s pretty much
all you need to know about this band hi
I’m Rebecca Braden and welcome to
watchmojo.com and today our host Ricky
will be speaking with the Acacia Strain
why should people want to hear the
Acacia Strain are the way easier to
answer why shouldn’t people
I mean there’s no real reason why
anybody should want to let’s go is if
they do and they like it then that sweet
again if they don’t then who gives a
shit there’s plenty other fans out there
how do you feel the music has changed
from album to album I feel like we’ve
definitely got a little more mature I
mean as we go along like each record we
started like structure songs more not
just throw like 20 rips into a
four-minute song and like try to keep it
you know a little more simple and more
easier for people to get it and stuff
like that you do one thing for certain
amount of time and just get better at it
yeah and change it up a little bit too
so let’s not try to keep boring stir
what would you say is the most
challenging part about writing an album
nobody gets together and you just start
playing and like whatever sounds cool or
like a quarter real quick and then part
of the hardest part trying to decide
whether to keep that part or like
elaborate on it if one person likes it
and then two people don’t and that’s
like I can start like little problems
all in all it’s a relatively easy
process get stone in Jam pretty much yes
who happens what’s the lyrical content
like me jack dl do all the music and
then Vincent he just writes the lyrics
he’ll write a bunch of lyrics and what
doesn’t know what’s going to go where
and was just listen to the songs that
figure out what song like lyric wise
he’s written fit best with like the
music
so what can a fan expect from your life
showing me and I know you guys are on
tour how do you keep that energy up when
it really comes down to it I we love
what we do so it’s always fun we’re all
sick and shit right now I mean before
the show always like damn it like I feel
like hell you know I don’t want to do
anything but then you get up there and
you still get pumped up because you’re
playing fine 45 minutes you don’t feel
sick you feel great and head banging
your ass off and then after you get done
you’re like oh god
when it boils down to its something love
to do so it’s not like we all have to
try to get into it and stuff like that
it’s always great to feed off the energy
in the crowd and then we can give it
back and it’s a give-and-take kind of
thing thank you guys so much for your
time and have a great show
