from Punk to power ballads to hip-hop
tat is steadily rising within the rock
scene hi I’m Heidi and you’re watching

with tak not myself
don’t
hi I’m here with Ted would you guys like
to introduce yourselves going left to
right i’m tatiana de maria and i sing
and play guitar i’m gerry to play drums
and I’m it can i play bass so you guys
were here at the vans warped tour as
have been treating you guys it’s great i
am been wearing these Underpants for now
three days and they feel great i was
going to turn me inside out this morning
but i thought why fight it sounded in
the underpants what’s you guys big
musical influence my talk about
conversation change we’re influenced by
everything I mean we all love music
there’s good music and bad music you
know good melodies good lyrics you know
something with substance for this van I
would say when people ask us that
question it probably makes the most
sense to say I biggest punk influences
which would be the clash stiff little
fingers Green Day Nirvana you know stuff
like the early 90s yeah for the grunge
era oh my god from like I’d say 89 296
holy shit there was some great music
coming up that was probably the part
that influenced me the most you know
I kind of grew up on more heavier stuff
like Metallica and the guns and roses
thing but being a three-piece kind of
punk band base wise as influenced by
that Mike done earlier this because it
worked you know in my life I just music
was always there I don’t know what I was
doing I was at school I was studying but
music kind of coming back to me and
everyone was always like you have a ship
voice you can’t sing shut up blah blah
blah and then I guess by default I just
wanted to sing the songs i had written
from 1516 onwards and I had to just try
and work it out so it sounded cool and I
sound so well behaved and so clean and
the first demo is just because my voice
was not broken into just from being on
the road you your voice develops and you
work out fun ways of saying things and
so it’s been a very organic process I
was never a singer and I never I never
considered myself one and if people say
to me today you have a great voice I’m
like really
magic
you guys go about making a song what’s
kind of like your group that you get
into dude and I come into rehearsal on
like hey guys are at this great new song
check it out bring green green he looks
like that song made me want to go to the
bar have this term we’re good to go to
the song go to the bass on you know
every band has one hey it’s watching me
they go to the song we lose it and you
go and get your prior
you
