1000 women have been photographed double

I’ve had a chance to talk to the artist
himself here and with camera bow whose
photographs line the gallery walls and
what inspired you to do this project i
started this concept in pies 15 years
ago with a thousand women in vice and
the idea is to work on networks of
people instead of working on individuals
like I did before I thought we were
entering a
era of communication and what’s
important what’s links us to the other
so I decided to do a homage to a very
big network women so I did it in
france in Cuba afterwards now in
Montreal and I want to be all over the
world not every countries but I want to
do it on all continents and have a woman
of the world ok so far do you find the
women from all over the world are the
same or have something in common which
which is very important they are
fighting for their rights and for
equality for year for cross centuries
they’ve been fighting and
men don’t understand that link between
women all women of the world always
behind and they have to fight for
equality so it makes them very
interesting and I think the world today
needs women because the world is in bad
shape and women can bring something
really interesting in that situation
what do you want people to get out of
this exhibit when they leave for the
time being it makes me feel like that
all these women are happy they’re happy
because lots of them are not well known
you know the media’s are not interested
in them and today they feel oh no I
think and most of them tell me they like
that picture they’re happy and that
makes my day
