tell us how Parkway Drive originated
long story short we come from a really
tiny town in Australia and it has an
even smaller music synthesized music
that we remake and at the time the van
formed there was limited interest in
making what we wanted to make and also
even more limited people who had the
actual skills to play the music that we
wanted to make so it literally came down
to the fact there was the people in the
band were the only ones that could
actually do what we wanted to do to make
this man
if you had to describe your music to say
my grandmother
what would you say fast heavy energetic
Australian fast
tell us about the band’s evolution the
music how the music has progressed from
album down the musical progression has
become has basically formed out of the
same thing that made us form the band
the first place which was a challenge
and we we tried to challenge ourselves
to write and create musically we weren’t
familiar with and that had a technical
aspect that we didn’t necessarily have
experience in using this album is the
newest album especially our it’s
definitely different from anything we’ve
done in the past and every album has
some kind of difference to it we don’t
we’re never going to be a band that
makes the same record twice what can you
tell us about deep blue it’s a very
dissertation rapport and it speaks a lot
about I guess being overwhelmed by a
world that seems to move faster in the
direction that you don’t necessarily
agree with but have no choice to
continue with and the struggle that you
find in trying to move against that and
the impact that it has on you as person
and your human nature so that’s kind of
what the theme follows through the
entire thing yes
