now throughout the Bands career the
music has been described as you know
black metal or under extreme metal
titles do you think that describes the
band well or do you have another way of
looking at it we’re just an extreme
metal band people trying to lame-ass
death metal but then they need all this
kind of black metal image and they have
problems so in order not to have
problems we just say extreme metal
that’s what we can do how would you say
the band’s music has evolved over the
years it changed a lot you know when
when behemoth started and there go was
14 or something that was strictly black
mellow music inspired by all this
Norwegian black metal scene back in the
days and then it just evolved somehow
there were some new inspirations new
bands new ideas coming but still the
band that has the same spirit they’d had
at the very beginning
in your native country there have been a
lot of issues regarding free speech
first of all why don’t you tell us about
these issues and then tell us why the
bend is going to continue to speak their
minds Poland is extremely Catholic there
are still some people having some
problems with us and it’s just sad and
pathetic that it’s just happening in the
country or we leave there’s a
organization by the the government by
the authorities trying to ban us to
cancel the shows to do whatever they can
they actually cannot do too much just
stupid pathetic it’s happening by bad
press is oppressed too right there are
so many people talking about us because
of this and we’re on the first pages of
all national newspapers also just let it
happen
they don’t do too much harm to us

do you think the band and its message is
generally misunderstood I’m sure there’s
people getting into the point rightly on
the other hand there’s so many people
just just missing the point of it we’re
trying to speak about it in the
interviews on the album’s we’re trying
to explain what we’re actually doing
there are always people who are against
something if it’s something extreme
there’s plenty of people being against
it or missing the point of it or
fighting with the point of it that’s how
