first of all how long have you been
playing guitar I’ve been playing over 30
years as a recording artist you prefer
playing live or crafting and creating an
album in studio I prefer playing live I
do enjoy being in the studio and
recording and working in the process you
get a great relationship when you’re
playing live with the crowd and there’s
a lot of energy I find that more
gratifying personally has your
composition changed since you started
playing not really first composition
goes it just seems to come to me so
whenever the inspiration comes there it
is and the songs seem to write
themselves can you tell us what a
shredding guitarist is playing really
fast that was basically the objective I
guess at the time was to hit really high
speeds very passionate type of playing
if you want to put together a show with
dynamics you got to bring it down so
that’s kind of why I stepped back a
little bit from from that world to go
into jazz and blues which was more
rootsy and soul and you could still step
on the pedal and play really fast if you
want to but in limited doses what is
progressive jazz progressive jazz I
guess is a certain type of jazz which
doesn’t fit into what would be
traditional jazz adding modern elements
I think this is when one would search at
all your progressive what’s the
importance of sharing experiences with
like-minded musicians anyone who’s
writing music or singing we all have
something in common you can’t learn
everything on your own so you’re always
saying oh this is interesting with this
person is doing basically just creating
a network of friends and contacts trying
to establish good relationships with
people
and and it’s a lot of fun I just like
working with people basically thank you
