what’s your next step artistically other
one Ivan started work I want to do a
reggae record probably at some point we
start sort of writing about that I’m
gonna shoot a movie in November for the
musical where side a short film with a
bunch of new music that’s a background
to the story that I wrote it’s called
romulus based on Remus and Romulus which
is the story of Rome kind of the two
brothers that got separated at birth
it’s a very subversive footnote context
about the black man and how he separated
from his people but at the same time
he’s so close to them you know I’m
saying

so what would you say the focus is going
to be on your next album just trying
different things you know just loving
music and just I read a lot of music so
it’s all stockpiling and trying to
figure out what I want to do with it I
have this one song goes it goes I was
talking about friend she’s like we
talked about how the most best songs the
world are simple so she’s like why just
write a simple song and we were like
like what if I was just to say i don’t
know for the whole sounds like did you
cheat you cheap I don’t know so that’s
like the first time I record because I
think I don’t know is the most
intelligent spiritual statement you can
make actually I’d like to have a lot of
