Cardio Kickboxing Exercises: Kicks

welcome to watchmojo.com
my name is the Nick Robinson from Anna
carts calm we’re here at Victoria Park
where we’re going to show you some basic
cardio kickboxing kicks so the first
thing we’re going to learn is how to
drive our knee into someone’s belly
so you’re going to reach up as though
you’re gonna grab the back of someone’s
neck and you’re gonna powerfully push
your hip forward driving your knee using
the power of your core and to either
their stomach or landing their chin on
your knee the second one we’re gonna
learn is just your basic front kick so
from an open stance arms in front you’re
going to simply drive your heel into a
body part in front of you into their
shin bone into their knee into their
belly button or even into their chin but
you don’t want to fully extend the knee
to make sure you don’t injure your knee
or whip the leg you want to work with
control and power the other cake we’re
gonna learn is a side kick so now you
might have someone attacking you from
the side of you so from your horse
stance I’m gonna have you pivot your
heel towards your target you’re going to
chamber your leg and you’re going to
extend to the side
so the fourth kick we’re gonna learn is
called the donkey kick or the back kick
so you’re going to coil in and perfectly
extend your leg back as you’re bringing
your shoulders forward you need to hold
your belly tight and press in extension
and the Crescent kick well what’s this
purpose is for kicking someone like a
slap right across the face you want to
pull your leg up in a wide circle boom
and your point of impact is right at the
top a warm up first make sure that
you’ve got a nice range of motion and
the flexibility to do it without hurting
yourself
