the first things you’re going to be
asleep until you’re buying a game is
looking at the graphics generally
graphics do do a lot to sort of affect
the overall quality of the game graphics
are not everything about now one of the
most recent examples I can think of that
was dhoom3 a doom 3 came out in the PC a
little while ago and you know everybody
looks forward to it because it was one
of those games that people had to go out
and upgrade their computers in order to
run and it looked absolutely amazing but
when it came time for reviews it
actually didn’t do too well and that’s
because though the game looked
absolutely incredible gameplay wise it
was actually pretty rudimentary and
pretty simple I didn’t do much to expand
on any first-person shooters in that
genre now you’re gonna hear a lot of
fancy terms probably throwing on over
the next little while when it comes to
next-generation games things like garage
shading and and I don’t know a normal
mapping and there’s a lot of sort of new
techniques used to sort of improve the
graphic effective of games what you see
the example of the Nintendo Wii to
really not be graphically that
impressive at all but Nintendo is
focused more so on the gameplay in that
case and those Sony’s go on the exact
opposite with the playstation 3 and
really focus heavily on graphics you are
seeing a lot in recent polls that people
are actually leaning towards the intend
Oh a lot of people number one don’t have
high-definition televisions to enjoy the
visuals the PlayStation 3 will provide
and a lot of people don’t want to spend
the money on a system just because the
graphics though there will be good
titles but because primarily the
graphics are gonna be a cut above
