travel to the zoo without leaving your
house hi I’m Rebecca Brayton and welcome
to watchmojo.com and today we’ll be
checking out Microsoft’s ultimate
collection of zoo tycoon this is your
tycoon 2 the ultimate collection which
brings together the zoo tycoon in the
original game plus all four of the
previous expansion packs so African
adventures extinct animals endangered
species and marine mania so it allows
you to have all of those together in one
zoo for the first time in one box which
is really cool because it means you can
put dinosaurs and dolphins and some
endangered Siberian tigers together in
one zoo for the first time there are
more than 30 extinct animals including
the cute little dodo bird a massive
American Mastodon and the prehistoric
dinosaurs but if you’re not careful the
dinosaurs get really mad rampage resume
but you can capture the angry dinosaurs
using your tranquilizer past the point
of Zoo Tycoon is really about building
and managing your zoo so you start out
either you play the freeform mode of the
game which allows you to have unlimited
money and just build the zoo of your
dreams or the challenge mode which
really is about building and running the
zoo business so not only is about
creating great exhibits and managing a
whole bunch of animals making sure
they’re happy and fed and you’ve got
enough staff to support them but also
making sure that you’ve got enough
people coming through the gates that
you’re charging them enough money so
it’s about both managing sort of the
animals and learning about them to make
sure that they’re taken care of but also
running the business of running a zoo
what age group is ass propria for I
think it’s one of those games that
parents can really play with their kids
or if you’re into real-time strategy
games or sim games you can absolutely
get into it because it is very deep and
sort of running the zoo what’s cool for
kids is actually the sort of educational
aspects of the zoo pedia so all the
animals are fully referenced have lots
of info about them to learn all about
their habitats if they’re endangered why
they’re endangered what you can do to
help and a lot of really cool
information about what is like upwards
of 40 or 50 different animals thank you
very much thanks
