Arcadia Festival – Gears of War part 2

I’ll show you here probably one of the
really nice additions to Gears of War is
this running dynamic this sort of camera
is we’re sort of mix to put the player
right into the feeling of the game and
what the game does it incorporates
something called stop and pop gameplay
so rather than actually having you go in
like a halo type game and just try to
mow down as many enemies as you can the
game is sort of heavily balanced so sort
of entice the gamer to stop take cover
and go from cover point to cover point
and you can see a lot of the levels are
designed to have a sort of chess board
almost feel whereas you versus the
enemies are strategically taking certain
cover points while you advance into the
enemy territory and it doesn’t look that
this game looks absolutely beautiful
there really isn’t enough I could say
about this game another beautiful
addition to this game is they’ve
actually made a mini game out of
reloading what they’ve done is when
you’re shooting off your gun as your
animals running out if you push the
right shoulder button at the right time
a sort of meter comes up and if you
place it perfectly you actually reload
almost instantaneously and cause extra
damage to the enemy however if you miss
our little window you actually Jam your
gun and you see your character going
through the trouble to reload his gun it
takes a little bit longer so a lot of
little innovate
but all together what they’ve done it
they just put together a really solid
solid package and this is by the company
epic you of course brought you the
Unreal Tournament series and this game
definitely has a lot of that influence
throughout from the music to the sort of
overall grit to the design of the
characters this game does not disappoint
