I’m Veronica watchmojo.com and today
we’re looking at what it takes to be a
professional ATV rider you’re one of the
ATV competitors can you tell us how
that’s different from Supercross and
freestyle we don’t have as many the big
jumps it’s a lot faster and a lot more
turns with being so close on the track
how do you stay safe well you know it’s
it’s really hard with the open wheels on
these things so you don’t want to touch
wheels with anybody and you know you
just use your head and ride your own
race most of the guys that I’m riding
without here I’ve written with all year
long so you know you can trust them and
know what they’re doing biggest thing is
is to keep control your own bike and
count on them to keep control of theirs
and try to stay out of trouble and pay
attention to the guy that’s in front of
your behind you how do you prepare for
these events all year long every day we
get up and go out and ride and hit the
gym and you know ride bicycles and
jogging and do tons of cardio you’re out
there using every muscle in your body
you know your legs your back your arms
everything that you have you’re using
for 20 minutes straight no breaks so you
know you really got to be in good
condition to be able to throw these
things around for that long out there
you know it’s a it’s a lifestyle just
constantly being on the bike
how’d you start in this sport when I was
younger my parents bought me a three
wheeler and ever since then I guess I
was a little bit crazy on them and I had
some friends that raced and they got me
into racing and my very first race
actually I crashed and ever since then I
was hooked let’s your favorite part of
this for everybody helps everybody in
ATVs it’s a little bit different than
the dirt bikes and dirt bikes is a
little bit of cutthroat out there but in
this whenever we go out to beat somebody
we want them to beat their best we’re
definitely a family oriented support on
and off the track we have to travel a
lot you have to be away from home a lot
and there’s a lot of training involved
but like I said before I wouldn’t have
it any other way
