so good question really I mean I think a
lot of us have come from families who
have grown up in brass band tradition or
certainly a lot of us have relatives who
play in brass bands so it’s always been
a good part I mean two of us are from
Huddersfield from Yorkshire and Mike’s
from Manchester and Chris from Scotland
or which are very very strong kind of
brass band fraternity so it kind of just
picked it’s off really I guess and you
mentioned the brass band tradition and
what have you learnt also so it’s great
um I mean what one thing what people
often don’t realize with brass bands is
but we also try and venture into a lot
of different genres of music so there’s
a very kind of old stereotype cliche
associate with brass bands but we’re
trying to actively brave a down by
trying to find new music new ventures
you know new locations and settings to
