Good morning, I’ll slow down the topic a little bit.
If you need to, just move a bit,
because it will not be serious at all.
I came to talk to you today about the Millennials generation.
And so we can talk about it, so we have to think about it,
as we actually know them.
Maybe they just need to sit next to you,
so that they do not attack us during this speech.
So: It’s hard to keep their attention for more than fifteen seconds.
Mostly they do not answer the phone and believe that their lack of interest is the most cool attitude.
They avoid criticism of both others and their own, and when they make a mistake,
so they’re totally under stress when they say they made the mistake.
They never do just one thing,
because multitasking is the right of each of us.
They have huge expectations and never disconnect.
And they mostly communicate only with those who are not anywhere nearby.
And these stereotypes of the present times
they create huge emotions.
I recently produced such a festival called Ynspirology.
And it is actually a festival for the generation Y, where about three thousand people came
and were able to draw inspiration from one another,
they could experience different disciplines in different forty interactive workshops,
which have never before tried –
from the debating league with Martin Veselovský, through the drumming to the bobbins,
digital illustration, virtual reality, parkour or dance.
And there was this photo too.
This is a photo of about 10,000 laic
and there was such a debate around her.
I would like to share this debate with you.
(reads) “Lucy: It’s annoying when ten-year-olds are on their cellphone.
You are the mockery of mankind.
Atap: No, it belongs to this time.
If you want to go to the forest, so … “
Then Lucy promoted it:
“I at their age, do you know what I was doing?
She went out with her friends.
At this time no one has friends because the cellphone is more valuable.
At their age, I had a plastic cell in which there was water.
At their age, I was fucking happier than these primitive nations,
which are increasingly behind.
But they do not mind, because maybe one day, when they get up,
so they find out that they’ve been totally fucked up by some fucking YouTub. “
(laughter)
And about these emotions, I’d like to talk to you today.
Do not take it that way.
I am also ashamed of what’s coming, what this time brings.
Early in our entertainment industry,
when you wanted to be an actor, you had to study school,
go to hundreds of castings before you get a role.
When you wanted to be a singer or singer,
you had to go banging on the bars before you were on the big stage.
I, as a dancer, had to train seven days a week,
fly around in workshops all over the world to do something.
And then, then came Kim Kardashian.
(laughter)
Do not take it wrong,
I had a chance to meet her and she is a very strong woman.
But it’s also a powerful example of the traditions being there.
So let’s look at what really hurts us.
I will ask you:
Who has ever seen someone in your life?
Paper, post, with a stamp. Who?
Wow, you are a very traditional company.
(laughter)
So differently.
Which one of you got a look this year?
(laughter)
But you are really a traditional society.
(laughter)
So, I’ll ask you what you think:
it looks like it all when you get a look, right?
And you are looking forward to it being traditional or that someone is investing in you the time,
that she goes to that post, sticks the mark …?
(audience: time)
That time – so it’s a bit about that time,
because we have, in fact, less and less,
it means that when someone decides to invest in us, we are delighted,
it means investing time makes us good emotions, good feeling.
Let’s take a look at what’s going on when the time is gone,
or if we let him shorten.
Another such stereotype that people do not like,
there are a bunch of people who look for mobiles.
Let’s look at the comparison in time.
In the 1950s,
when you were waiting at the stop or were transported by any means of transport,
you were in the newspaper.
Nowadays, you’re gonna get into your cell phone.
I think it’s always been encoded in us,
that we love when our mind can go somewhere away,
we can sleep, we can get some text.
It’s just that the text is not passive, but it’s in both directions.
This means that the stereotype does not change, it remains the same.
do you agree with me?
It means that we are hurt because it’s something new,
but we have been doing it a lot, many years.
Another such apocalyptic event, especially for linguists,
is language shortening.
For them, the invention of emojis, smilies,
something like a reopening of a nuclear program.
(laughter)
And yet they are so cute.
(laughter)
I love the emojis, I just feel like there is a new language.
Something like old-time.
It’s not just spilled tea, but it’s just nice, it’s got the face
and moreover, I believe that sometime in the future
our remains will be examined by futuristic archaeologists,
so much to learn about us.
Maybe here from the road
successful broker shortly after the collapse of the New York Stock Exchange.
Or this communication
graduates studying new media after a successful party.
Or this one sent to me by a friend from America
and I do not know at all what it means.
(laughter)
So when we give that time, it’s so enjoyable,
when we take him, we get angry with him
and sometimes we have to do it and sometimes we do it because we want to.
We have to work.
I guess we agree,
that every day we enter the digital world many times.
When we park when we go to a doctor,
when we go to the job when reading a newspaper.
We are constantly exposed to the digital world.
And as we fall back or disconnect,
so the train is gonna run fast.
And so that we are relevant and have the chances and opportunities in our fields,
so we just have to go with time.
On the other hand, the personal investment of that time,
when we decided to keep the virtual friendships away –
as Facebook offered us years ago and we do not intend to get rid of them –
so we have to keep our digital copy, that avatars.
And there is a need to take care of it, upgrade it every day,
take care of her so she does not breathe.
And what do you think, there may be something good about it,
to make creative your digital image?
I do not know, I did not get it.
But I know from experience that every thing has two sides.
You bad and good.
And it is up to us to see what kind of party we want to look at.
But the fuck is that the time just disappears.
They disappear from families, disappear from friendship, just disappear from the world.
And that, in turn, raises those negative emotions.
Today’s world – now I say such three strange words,
do not be afraid, I will explain them –
is partly dematerialized, demonetized and democratized.
Dematerialized in the fact that there are plenty of things,
which have a physical shape and are now only on ShareCloud.
From family albums through contracts and so on.
The demonetization is that we are not worth much –
up to some of the charges –
that storage, or transport, transportation, and so on.
And democratized,
that we each have this small voting system.
And we no longer dictate from any institution,
what answer is correct: A, B or C?
No, we will choose a different one.
Also do not let yourself talk,
that the only important choice here in that state is the political one.
You choose every day, every crown you spend
and every minute you spend watching this mobile phone,
whether you are looking at anything.
And because the world is just different,
so the Millennials at that time have little hell.
And because it’s so different, not even a family, not a school anymore
he was not able to prepare these people for what he was going to do,
so it must have one property,
which they had before, but not so much.
Do you know what it is?
They have to be creative.
They have to be creative, because that way is not just cracked, it does not exist.
He must re-create it.
She must think about it.
And what is the equivalent of creativity?
Time.
At a time when you have no time, you can not be creative.
Under pressure and stress, creativity is not coming.
To be creative, you have to play, you have to experiment,
and you need time.
Moreover, this bumper generation is the first one to learn
or they will teach their children, and they also have to teach their parents.
How many of you have to install on your family’s modems
or explain how the phone is used, touch – well?
So we have it again – suddenly, the traditional society,
we all have to teach it, we teach it, we teach it these,
that is, at that time it is even less.
My mom told me a while ago – it’s been a while longer –
that she would want the iPad.
She says she can communicate,
to see what I do on those social media,
to make video calls with me.
Okay, okay, here’s your iPad.
They are at home three women, mom, grandmother and Rozara, sergeant.
Ségra gave birth to a new refugee a few days ago,
so she has other worries now.
(laughter)
But my grandmother and mom just live together.
And my grandmother calls me in a few weeks, she says,
Yemiko, the mom is not talking to me at all,
she furt the iPad.
It looks like I will have to buy an iPad and a grandmother.
(laughter)
It is important to remember one thing.
The closer we are to those who are far away,
the further we are with those who are close.
I have JAD Productions
and there I employ about 15 of these millennia.
And thanks only to them and their mindset
we were able to double the turnover last year.
Just thanks to them I can travel to America and tour with Kanye West,
as they prepare a campaign for Adidas Originals in Europe
and our other crew in Singapore
presentation of a new cancer drug on the market.
Only through their mindset,
that I decided to look at them from that good site.
Look at that face, and not on the back of what the time brings.
They can use their time as much as possible.
Any waiting at the airport,
every bus stop, every transport.
The message from me to you is to not be afraid of the lovers,
nor any other new generation.
Because what they do not do because they want,
but because they need to be ready for what awaits us.
Do not allow this time to divide us.
If you can understand them, you will understand the future.
We never had a better chance in life
to see more, to understand more and to live better.
Thank you.
