this next song is dedicated to my mother
my mother was my first educator not just
in life but in everything with regards
to music in fact as it was mentioned she
was one of the first opera singers from
Iran so I grew up with music at home and
always singing since I can remember
when I was in the process of writing
this song much later in my life I knew
that my mother was her soul was
preparing for the leaving of this planet
so it was very difficult for me to find
the words to this song the music was
there but it took me about a year to
find the words to the song and when the
song was finally recorded she passed
away and so we went back into the studio
and we added a part to the song which is
also included in here today where I am
speaking in Farsi to my mother that’s
the language she also taught me and I’m
telling her how much I miss her and that
I know I cannot see her anymore but her
heavenly voice will always be with me
for me because you’re 19
