The Dangers of Thinking Too Much; And Thinking Too Little

Thinking about ourselves, our feelings, our past, our wishes and our hopes is a difficult task
Most of us do a lot of work to avoid them
We move away from ourselves because most of what we may discover foretells that it is painful
We may discover that we are deeply angry or resentful of certain people we are supposed to love
We may discover the size of the area where we felt guilty and ineligible
Compared to the amount of mistakes and bad judgments we made
We may discover that despite our desire to be gentle and obedient to the laws
We have, however, masked our misguided fantasies
We are likely to realize the amount of concessions and changes we have made to our relationships and careers
Not only do we have a lot to hide, we are liars of geniuses
It is part of human genius to deceive ourselves instinctively
Our means of doing so are multiple and almost invisible. Two of them deserve to stand up
The first is our tendency to over-think. The second is our tendency not to think too much
When we think a lot, we fill our minds with interesting ideas, which brings our intelligence to the world
At the same time, he stresses that we will not have more space to re-discover the feelings of ignorance and confusion
On which the evolution of our personalities is based
We may write extensive books on the role of government relations in the Napoleonic wars
Or we publish a large-scale research on Chaoser’s influence on the Japanese novel in the mid-nineteenth century
We may receive certificates from institutes of higher education or place our website on publication in scientific journals
Our minds are packed with elitist information
We can inform our guests at dinner brilliantly about the author of the book (acronym), the philosopher (Epectetus)
Or the life of the founder of Buddhist Buddhism. But we can not remember much about how we lived for a while
In the old house, when our father left, our mother stopped smiling and shook our confidence around us
We spread the knowledge and the majestic ideas that are beyond doubt
In order to protect us against the simpler and more basic ideas of our past emotions
We bury our personal stories under a flood of experience
So the prospect of a deep, intimately interrelated introspective questioning has been intentionally left to seem trivial and unnecessary
Compared to a larger task such as a speech at a conference on political strategies
Of the Queen (Dona Maria I) or the life cycle of the Indonesian octopus
We rely on the splendor of learning to make sure we do not need to know more that could hurt us
Then our custom comes not to think too much, claiming that we are simpler than we are
And that increased psychological analysis is illogical and exaggerated
We are based on a strong version of logic to dispel any alerts about our embarrassing complexities
We have to point out to ourselves that not over-thinking is proof of intelligence
With others, we use a deceptive strategy to minimize the most complex models of human nature
We are afraid to search for ourselves as an inappropriate or strange luxury
Which means that the process of lifting the lid on the internal life will not be fruitful and estimated at all
We are using our practical mood at 9 pm on Monday to make things worse the night before
Where our whole existence is questionable
In the background of the millions of stars glittering on the mantle of black velvet
In our attempt to spread a strong logical behavior, we are working hard to make our moments of fundamental concern
Seem to be an anomaly rather than a potential for self-insight
We appeal to the understandable desire for our personalities to be simple, tragic and easy to understand
So that we can reject the strange but useful facts about our complex real selves
The defense of emotional truths has nothing to do with our high ethics
But it is ultimately a cautionary and self-conscious behavior. We must tell ourselves more truth
Because we pay a high price for our lies
By deceiving ourselves, we isolate ourselves from the possibilities of maturity and close great niches to our minds
We end up being non-creative, cynical and defensive, while those around us suffer from our disdain and depression
Or artificial glamor or defensive rationality of things. Ignoring the strange aspects of ourselves.
It inhibits our presence and reappears in the form of insomnia, sexual weakness, numbness or depression
As revenge for all the ideas that we were keen not to have
Self-knowledge is not as much a luxury as it is a measure of our own safety and our inner comfort
