Whose Hands Are Warmer, Women’s or Men’s? | National Geographic

we had an assignment in order to
illustrate the fact that women and men
on average have different body
temperature so this would be vertical
vertical the concept was to be able to
have two models come in man and a woman
and be able to show that difference
using this film about the camera well
that looks good in their torso they’re
just different by about a half a degree
but in their hands it differs by about
two and a half degrees on average it’s
got a little bit more but not a whole
lot mm-hmm
I imagine we’re gonna have to probably
crop in a bit so what I’m using is a
thermographic camera so you’re not using
any kind of a light a visible light
spectrum it’s all about savoring
position position just one at a time
this morning tomorrow nice so as a
photographer I think it’s it’s a lot of
fun to have a different challenge
we practiced with it you know we did
test and we did test with video as well
as the still imagery to make sure that
it would work raise your hand
and so in doing it and really you know
producing a nice picture of this a
thermal picture
hopefully it’ll really grab people’s
attention and you draw them into the
stories that they read it that’s a wrap
