now you can’t go to Thailand without
doing a tiger started without going to
the tiger temple now as a journalist I
can’t make judgments I can tell you how
I fell but look at these pictures and we
need to figure out as a group later on
you can tell me what you think
we cannot exploit the tiger we can’t
treat it as a dog it is the world’s
largest cat and we need to somehow have
a new respect for the big cats and
animals of our world but you can come
and get your picture taken you can watch
a tiger show you can see the Tigers jump
up and down one thing they’re doing here
is they’re expanding this thing so the
tiger is merely for tourism and they’re
actually breeding them it started out as
kind of a Buddhist ideal and they were
bringing supposedly Tigers in we’re
whose mothers had been poached and
taking in Cubs we could never figure out
and nobody will ever know if that’s
actually true but I was bound and
determined if I was going to be there I
had to get a picture so see where that
guy is back here I figured the only
thing that I could do is try to figure
out how to get back there to show the
people that came to see the show and get
the viewpoint from there because if I’m
gonna spend three days there I got to
come back for the picture so you can see
me right here being led back with all
these Tigers here looking at me now the
guy said hold my hand in front hold the
hand of the guy in back and he said
later on I had something made of steel I
figured it was like the game I play a
cracker Bell when you lose is you just
plain dumb because I couldn’t breathe I
was shaking so much
and they’re trying to distract the
Tigers here and here I’m going back but
I figured I had to get a picture and in
the end we actually did get one there’s
the tiger that was on the rock looking
at me the guy goes hey do you want us to
play with the Tigers here and I said no
get away from me all you guys have a
three-foot bamboo sticks you know you
tell me that I’m fresh meat you know oh
they don’t know you I said yeah I know
they don’t know me but I gotta try to
get a picture out of this after spending
three days here and then you know I
think it was just plain dumb but we
ended up getting one picture and that
that that’s what it is because we love
the tiger but we need to love them
enough to save them and we need to find
this love and put it into conservation
the organizations that we here that are
saving tigers and to actually put our
support whether it’s just support
getting involved or funds into saving
this species and you know I watch this
it’s just an incredible it makes you
really feel close to the animal but then
it’s kind of like you know it’s there
you can go try to feed them chicken but
as you can tell that guys like ham a
tiger and I’d like to eat some red meat
today and these Cubs are just cuter than
can be but let’s look at them in in a
way that these guys need to be in the
wild and there’s the monk and so I’m
glad I went and I think like a zoo we’d
become closer to the species but we have
to remember that they live in the wild
and we got to find a way to be sure that
they have that
