“Mini-Storm” of Dolphins Surrounds Boat | National Geographic

I came to Baja California first by
accident and I discovered that this was
referred to in ray cannons book is the
richest see in the world deserve that
name so we wake up in the morning then
for the next two hours we were just in
and amongst these dolphins they were
leaping everywhere you were almost like
in a mini storm it was like a tornado
had come through the water it was
churned up so much and then it would
stop all of a sudden where the activity
wasn’t going on maybe flat calm and so
we would actually take the zodiacs and
lead them out into the flat water so you
could see their reflections I mean
sometimes you would literally be looking
up with a dolphin I mean you know you
think about looking down at a dolphin
from ship looking up at a dolphin is
sort of leaping all around you and they
were just going from one zodiac to the
other because they were just clearly
enjoying this and the faster you went
the more of them would come it was it
was just the most incredible moment you
can possibly imagine I don’t think I’ll
ever stop talking about this day for the
rest of my life
