Dallas Seavey I’m a professional sled
dog racer and my short career as a
competitive Iditarod racer I’ve won the
Iditarod I’ve been top five in the
Iditarod three times now life is kind of
been focused around being the youngest
person in these races I always end up
competing with people much older than
myself
some of them as old as my dad and some
of them are my dad I’m Mitch Seavey I’m
a two time I did a road champion most
recently in 2013 my boys have been
running dogs with me and of course we
all have done it together so dog mushing
and the Seavey’s are kind of synonymous
now you booting all these guys yeah
throw some boots on here and be out of
here yeah by six o’clock maybe Dallas
always comes across as a know-it-all and
in reality I’ve taught him everything in
fact maybe how to be a know-it-all I
don’t even care if you’re fast at butene
because you’re not gonna beat me in the
adentro matter how fast you bootie you
can stay all day at mcgrath and just
show up you booty it all be gone long
dogs you guys put up with us all the
time is my dad competitive absolutely
we’re both in the same sport and usually
we’ve been working together now we have
the two most successful kennels in
Alaska kind of butting heads as we go
into the next Iditarod
my dogs are so well trained they could
put their own booties on hey Conway

want Dallas to think that he’s the
fastest so he’ll have a little success

so after booting several of my dad’s
dogs I kind of realized where this is
going I’m booting my dad’s dogs I
thought I got out of this five years ago
well when you get faster come back and
we’ll see how long it takes you to get
the rest done Dallas usually thinks he
knows everything but he’s gonna find out
