Jonah’s came to us after he was involved
in a motor vehicle crash he was flown
directly from the scene here the
suspicion was that he had a traumatic
brain injury cat scan confirmed that he
didn’t have a lot of other associated
injuries and as it turns out his brain
injury was not that serious when we
finally heard from the doctor that Jonas
was gonna live I was relieved but he
warned us that it’s gonna be a long road
to recovery in addition to Jonas is head
injury he also has a broken collarbone
and a severed tendon in his finger both
of these are going to require several
surgeries at times like this it’s hard
to argue with the Amish preference for
slower safer buggies over fast cars
gentleman’s coming to our house till
he’s hundred-percent healed he gonna
stay we keep eye on him he gotta bang on
the head and kind of scratched up a
little bit he gonna stay there world me
and mom keep eye on him there’s a Miss
now yeah but yeah mom was supposed to
try to get hold of you I called you
couldn’t answer your phone or something
do you have any anyway getting hold of
his folks upper is that what he wants to
did he say he wants you to get hold of
his parents well you think we ought to
let them know well I don’t know if we
should or shouldn’t I’d say to leave
that up to Jonas you know as well as I
do if they come back they’re gonna try
to take him back with him and I don’t
know if that’s what he wants or not well
he I didn’t ask him about that when I go
back in and talk to him I’ll see if he

and they get scared them they went back
